chapter 19

the night after they got liam out of jail they decided to go to the bar and celebrate.

louis at first was wary because he didn't know if zayn was going to invite connor or not. harry said he'll talk to him about it.

about 10 minutes before they we're about it to leave harry walked into his room looking at louis with a sad and angry face.

"what's wrong?" louis asked

harry took a deep breath "zayn called and said that he invited connor" he let out the breath

louis froze "did you ask him to tell connor nevermind?"

"no, i was going to but when i thought about it, it's kind of mean. i mean he did help us" harry shrugged

"i guess" louis whispered

"i'm sorry babe" harry said as he hugged him

louis hugged back and sighed "it's fine"

they walked into the bar and louis saw connor and niall immediately.

they walked over hand in hand and sat down in the booth. louis didn't miss the way connor was glaring at harry and their linked hands.

"hey! where's zayn and liam?" harry asked, totally oblivious to connors glares.

niall shrugged "zayn went to the bar to get us drinks and i haven't seen liam"

harry nodded and looked toward louis. he seemed out of it.

"hey lou you okay?" harry asked concerned

louis looked up "yea i'm fine" he smiled reassuringly

harry nodded even though he wasn't sure.

soon enough zayn came back with six beers. but liam hasn't shown up yet.

"where's liam?" zayn asked as he sat down next to louis.

connor shrugged and looked at niall, who was right beside him who also shrugged. "haven't seen him since last night" niall said

then it clicked for harry. see last night after they went out to eat, minus connor, they were walking back to harrys flat, none of them drove. when louis saw a bunch of cop cars and cops everywhere. they were obviously looking for someone. they ran to harrys flat and hid there until they were sure it was clear. harry took liam home 10 minutes later.

"did he text anyone?" harry asked. all the boys shook their heads no.

just before louis was going to ask what harry thinks happened, liam walks in.

"hey lads sorry" he sat down next to connor. it went liam, connor, and niall. and across from them was, harry, louis, zayn.

"hey mate, where were you?" harry asked

"well i was about to leave and i saw a bunch of cops outside so i decided to stay until they left but they never did so i snuck out the back" liam said grabbing his beer taking a sip "and then when i was walking here there were cops literally crawling the place"

"shit" harry swore "do you think they're looking for you?"

liam shrugged "i don't know"

"well you're here and you're staying so let's drink!" zayn said

they all cheered, some less than others, and started drinking.

they had a few beers when connor started talking.

"so, how new is this little thing you two have going on?" he asked, he was clearly drunk.

"um well we met about a month ago and started dating a little bit ago" harry said smiling at louis like he was the only boy in the room.

"oh so it's like really new huh? maybe just a fling?" connor said

louis ignored him and just stared at his beer.

"well yes it's really new but it's not a fling" harry said as he put his arm around louis' waist.

connor nodded and didn't say anything further.

it was about 30 minutes into the night when louis stopped dancing with harry to go to the bathroom.

"i'll be right back" louis said into harrys ear since the music was so loud.

harry nodded and watched louis as he left. he missed a certain blonde going in a minute after him.

louis went to the bathroom quick. he was washing his hands when someone walked in. he didn't look up since he thought it was someone who wasn't a part of his group.

he turned to leave when he ran into a chest.

"oh i'm sorry, i didn't see you the-" louis stopped when he looked up and saw connor "oh hey"

he tried to step aside but connor grabbed him "where are you going?" he asked while smirking. louis could smell the alcohol on his breath.

louis raised an eyebrow at him "back to go dance?" louis was confused. he tried to get out of connors grip but he help on tighter.

"i thought we could talk" connor whispered

"i don't want to talk connor" louis said getting angry

"oh but we have so much to talk about" connor grinned. louis felt really uneasy about this whole thing.

louis sighed, all he wanted to do was have fun with his boyfriend, his bestfriend, and new friends "can we talk another time?"

"no" connor said loudly "see when i saw harry and you i thought you were just friends, but then you said you're dating. that kind of ticked me off. i thought you loved me"

louis furrowed his eyebrows "what? connor what we had was barely anything"

"no" connor said "you were in love with me"

"i wasn't" louis said. he was getting scared

"yes you were" connor grabbed louis' other hand "and i'm going to prove it" he shoved louis against the wall and pushed his hands into the wall so he couldn't move.

"connor stop please" louis cried "you're drunk"

connor didn't listen and just as the bathroom door opened he slammed his lips onto louis'.

louis doesn't know who walked in. he was too busy trying to get out of connors hold. he kept turning his head and pulling at his hands.

"what the fuck!" a deep voice yelled.
