chapter 11

that week was pretty long for harry, but not for louis. the day after harry asked him out he went out and made sure he was ready for this date. niall made fun of him when he got his hair cut but louis was a nervous wreck that whole week.

harry was scared too but he was so excited. he asked liam and zayn to make sure that the aquarium doors were open for them after they eat. he instructed them to break in after they know everyone had left, and to dim the lights enough for them so they could see but it could still be romantic.

when friday finally came harry was nervous. he probably showered 4 times to just make sure he smelt good. he put on his favorite black blouse and his best black jeans. he put on his boots and was on his way.

he drove to louis' flat and when he got there he went up to the doors to buzz in.

"hello?" louis' voice came through the intercom

"hey it's harry"

"oh! i'll buzz you up sorry" louis said frantically

the buzzer sounded and harry went up, he got to louis' door and knocked three times.

louis opened the door and harry was left speechless. he was wearing black jeans with the bottoms cuffed and black checkered vans, he had a on a white sweater. he looked heavenly.

"i couldn't find any dress shirts i hope that okay" louis said shyly as he looked for his keys

"that's totally fine don't worry about it" harry smiled at him "so are you ready to go?"

"yes i am" they left the flat after louis locked up. louis looked at harrys outfit and was once again left breathless at the mans beauty.

when they got outside louis was looking at harrys car like he's seen it before.

"what's up?" harry noticed

"um i feel like i've seen your car somewhere but i can't remember where" louis said confused

harry paled as he remembered when he sped right by niall and louis "oh well you know how many lamborghinis there are" harry shrugged

"yea you're right" louis chuckled

harry opened up louis' door for him. louis watched harry walk to the other side and almost laughed when he almost tripped. harry got in and smiled "ready?" louis nodded and they were off.

they got to the restaurant about 20 minutes later. they got out and louis noticed it was pretty fancy. harry sticks his hand out for louis to take which he does. they walk in hand in hand. louis looks around and sees it's really pretty, the ceiling has gold trimming and the lights are low to set the mood. there is low chatter around the room.

they sit down and instantly have a conversation. they find out that they both went to the university of london, harry just graduated two years before louis. harry found out that louis lived with his mum throughout uni. louis found out that harry moved out of his mum's house after about two years at uni.

the waiter came to their table just as they finished their conversation to ask what they wanted to eat. louis got chicken alfredo and harry got shrimp pasta.

they ate and had a good time. after harry paid, where louis wanted to pay for his half but harry told him that he was paying since he asked him out on the date, they left.

louis thought harry was taking him home but was proven wrong when he pulled in front of an aquarium.

"harry? what are we doing here, it's closed" louis told him

"oh but it's not. i called in a few favors and we are going in to look at the beautiful fish" harry said proudly

"really?" louis asked excitedly

"yes" harry chuckled as louis got out of the car without waiting for harry.

harry got out and they walked in. before they got in though harry noticed zayn and liam at the end of the street, he was about to go tell them to leave but then remembered he wanted them to keep lookout for any security.

they went in and it was exactly how harry wanted it. the lights were low enough to be able to see but not too bright to cause headaches. there was soft music playing in the background.

the walked from room to room looking at all the amazing fish. at one point harry took louis' hand and intertwined their fingers.

they got to the last room and harry was too busy looking at all the amazing fish to realize louis let go of his hand to stand in front of the glass. harry took notice after a minute and went to stand behind him.

he wrapped his arms around his waist and put his chin on his shoulder. "beautiful isn't it?"

louis nodded and looked at harry from over his shoulder.

they stared into each other's eyes getting lost. harry was drowning in the ocean that is louis' eyes while louis was lost in the forest that is harry's eyes.

louis didn't notice he turned himself around to face harry and harry didn't realize he was leaning in. louis started to lean in too and sparks flew for the both of them as their lips touched.

when they broke apart they both were left breathless.

"wow" they said at the same time, harry smiled and took louis' hand. they left the aquarium in amazement after what just happened in there.

harry stopped louis as they got outside "did i tell you you look beautiful tonight?"

louis blushed and shook his head no. harry smiled and lifted louis' chin with his thumb and pointer finger. "well you look beautiful tonight" louis blushed again and mumbled a thank you.

they got in the car and harry drive louis home smiling like an idiot.

when they got to louis' flat, harry walked him up.

they got louis' door, louis turned to look at harry. "i had a wonderful time tonight, i loved every second thank you" louis said while smiling

"you're welcome, i had a great time too" harry smiled back. he leaned in to kiss louis' cheek "goodnight louis" he whispered in his ear

"goodnight harry" louis whispered back.

harry smiled and winked before walking away. louis walked into his flat and right when the door shut he locked it and did a little happy dance.

harry walked into his own flat and did the same thing.

they both fell asleep with huge smiles on their faces.

OMG! that's chapter eleven. boy was this a pain to write. i had it all written and was just about to publish it when it didn't save. it's a whole story and i won't bore you with it. i hope you liked the chapter!! i am feeling a little bit better, i thought i had covid but i think it's just a cold as my sister had the same thing and now my dad. i also got better fast except my lungs hurt so i will keep you updated if you care HAHA.
