chapter 28

6.15.21

after harry calmed down, niall called louis' mum to tell her what happened.

"hello jay" niall said when she answered

"hello sweetheart, what's up?" jay said

"um do you think a couple friends and i could come by real quick?" niall asked looking at harry, who was tracing his tattoo

"of course! it's just me here the girls are at their grandparents" jay said

niall thanked his lucky stars for that "okay we will be there in a short while"

"okay honey see you soon" jay said and hung up

niall sighed and went up to liam.

"so um i'll drive to his mum's house just get harry into the car okay? i'll pull it around" niall said

liam nodded and watched niall walk out of the cafe holding his arm which wasn't broken but sprained so it had a wrap on it.

liam walked up to harry "hey buddy, we have to go to louis' mums house okay?"

harry looked up and nodded. he let liam help him out of the booth and into the car.

when they pulled up to jays home niall spoke for the first time "so she knows what you look like and who you are to louis so i wouldn't introduce yourself as a friend because then she'll be confused" he said to harry "and um i'll tell her okay?"

harry and liam nodded and they got out of the car. harry seemed less in shock and was starting to calm down and go back to his own self.

niall knocked and a woman who looks so much like louis answered the door "hello!"

"hi jay" niall said and hugged her

"hello niall" jay said "and you must be harry?"

"yes, hi mrs tomlinson" harry said and stuck his hand out to shake

"please, call me jay" jay said and hugged harry

"and you are?" jay said to liam

"hi, sorry i'm liam and i'm a friend of harry's and a new friend of louis'" liam rambled a little

jay smiled kindly "welcome"

"so um jay can we sit on the couch?" niall asked

"yes go make yourselves comfortable, i'll make some tea" jay said

"no that won't be necessary" niall declined

"are you sure?" she asked

niall nodded with a tight smile

"alright" jay sat down on the chair next to the couch "hey now that i think about it, wheres louis?"

harry started to get choked up and he had to put his head down so she wouldn't see his tears.

"that's what we came to talk to you about" niall said

"okay?" jay said confused

"so something happened to louis" niall said

"oh? what happened?" jay asked worried

before niall could say anything harry let out a choked sob.

"i-i'm sorry" harry stood up "please excuse me, um is there a bathroom?"

"yes right around the corner sweetie" jay said

"thanks" harry mumbled and walked to the bathroom

he got to the bathroom and as soon as he shut the door he heard nialls muffled voice. a few seconds later he heard the sound of jays sob, he closed his eyes and tried to ignore the sobs coming from the living room. he imagined louis' voice and he calmed down a little bit.
