chapter 3

3.16.21

when louis got to his flat after he left the park he went straight to his kitchen. he looked and looked but he couldn't find anything to make that was easy for him since he literally can't cook.

he called niall to see if he wanted to go out for food

"yellow" niall answered

"hey ni have you eaten at all today?"

"uh no i haven't, now that you mention it i haven't eaten since yesterday morning"

"um ok well i was wondering if you wanted to go out to get something to eat"

"oh my god yes! i was driving downtown yesterday and saw this really cool retro diner, we should go there" niall said excitedly

"okay, should i get you or are you coming to get me?"

"um can you get me? my car wasn't there when i woke up this morning i think someone stole it"

"oh yea i can do that. it's going to be a little bit is that ok?" louis still needed to shower

"yea that's fine, i'm at my mums anyways right now so i'll text you when i get back to my flat"

"okay sounds good" louis hung up

he got into the shower and started to think of coat guy from this morning, he keeps wondering why he was wearing a coat when it was as hot as it was today.

he gets out and decides to watch a little bit of 'criminal minds' while he waits for niall to get back to his flat.

he watched almost a whole season when niall finally texted that he was ready.

louis got up and went out to his car to go pick him up.

when he got there niall was already outside and got in his car right away.

"oh my god it's so hot! why is it so hot? why couldn't it of been rainy or at least cloudy, like i feel like i'm melting, my skin is sticky and i feel sick, i am definitely having a heat stroke." niall complained as soon as he sat down.

louis laughed "niall calm down it isn't that hot"

"yea yea whatever" niall dismissed

"where's this diner at?"

"oh! it's right downtown, you'll know it when you see it"

"ok"

niall was right, louis found the diner right away and actually found a spot right by the front.

they got out and went inside, louis looked around and it didn't look that packed an old couple in one booth and a young couple in another. there were three guys in a booth together. louis was about to look away from the trio when his blue eyes got caught under a green stare. louis couldn't seem to look away until niall slapped the back of his head, he gave niall a look that could kill and gave a smile to green eyes.

they got seated across the way from the trio and louis couldn't help but notice all their tattoos, there was one guy with brown hair and he had two sleeves, the other guy was like god himself, he also had a lot of tattoos. finally green eyes, he had brown curly hair that made louis' knees weak and he was so glad he was sitting, he had a lot of tattoos but mostly angel tattoos, louis thought they were cool. he looked at their outfits and saw they were all wearing black and louis remembered coat guy. and then it clicked, green eyes was coat guy, he remembers the coat, it was a long black thick coat.

green eyes must've known louis was staring because he turned his head to look at louis, louis was quick though and turned his head back to niall.

niall was looking at him with a smile on his face and started wiggling his eyebrows "ooolala" is what he said.

louis reached and punched nialls arm and told him to shut up

they ordered their burgers and when their food was getting sat down the trio got up. louis looked up just as green eyes did, when their eyes met everyone disappeared, it was like they were the only two people on this earth. louis noticed that he was beautiful, he was like a star. their staring contest got cut short when one of green eyes' friends yelled at him to go.

green eyes winked at louis and he was gone. louis blushed and looked back at niall who had that stupid smile on his face again. louis rolled his eyes and began to eat.

they finished their food and left after paying. on the way back to louis' flat niall started laughing out of no where.

"what? what's so funny" louis asked amused

"you and your staring contest with that beautiful stranger, now he was no ryan gosling but he was beautiful" niall started laughing again

"whatever it was just a staring contest"

"hmm i don't know, i sensed chemistry"

"what you sensed was your rank ass feet now shut up"

niall laughed like a hyena again

they got back to louis' flat and niall was still laughing and it was making louis' eye twitch

they were getting out of louis' car when they heard sirens in the distance and they were getting closer. then they heard what sounded like gun shots. niall and louis took cover. they heard a loud engine coming for them and the gunshots were getting closer. louis looked up and saw a black lamborghini speeding down the street. louis thought it looked familiar.

a brown haired man was hanging out of the window of the lamborghini shooting the other way. louis looked and saw he was shooting at the cops. louis couldn't get a good look at the guy because the car whipped right by them followed by the cops.

louis looked at niall and he looked absolutely terrified, louis on the other hand was disappointed in how dumb someone is to be shooting at law enforcement.

they went inside and louis almost completely forgot about what he saw.
