🎵On The Loose — Niall Horan

Harry's POV

"Yes, we won again!" Kyle shouts in victory, opening his arms for the same blonde who stared at him earlier to go into them. He picks her up and swings her around before setting her back on the sand.

The blood boils in my veins — he's openly doing this when Aurelia isn't around!

I know she and I aren't any better, considering last night, but holy hell. I have half the mind to go up to him and tell him myself, just for him making a fool out of her in public.

"Now do you believe me?" I murmur to Jax, who's gaping at Kyle. I can't believe all of this was happening.

"This is a fucking mess, man," he replies with a shake of his head. "Ella needs to know, but then, does that mean she tells him about you two?"

"She has to," I say with a frown, running a hand through my hair. "Cheater or not, he still needs to know, it's the right thing..."

The right thing.

I've been wondering if I've been doing the right thing lately, especially the past 24 hours — I'm not sure.

I turn my attention back to Kyle, who's now chugging another Budweiser. We've played four games now with him and his 'friends' — the sky was now turning a pretty shade of pink, almost like cotton candy.

I still don't know what I'm actually doing; for fuck's sake, I slept with his girlfriend last night — who happens to be the love of my life — and I've now spent the afternoon playing volleyball with the guy.

Jax is right, this is a fucking mess.

I didn't realize so much time had already passed by. I wonder how Aurelia and Lydia were doing...

"The girls have been shopping for hours now," Jax complains, wiping the sweat off his brow as he voices my thoughts aloud.

"Did you hear from Lydia?" I ask. I wonder if she and Aurelia had a chance to speak; I know Lydia chewed me out, she definitely did the same to Aurelia.

Hopefully Lydia's knocked some sort of sense into her and made her realize that she needs to tell Kyle, especially now.

Jax suddenly squints as he looks in the distance towards the beach's entrance and I look over, squinting my own eyes.

"Are you fucking serious..." he starts, shaking his head as my eyes train on two stumbling figures, one of which that I can notice anywhere.

"Found them," I mumble, fighting back a smile. Of course, they'd manage to find a bar.

"Shopping, my ass," Jax mutters as Kyle walks over to us.

Fuck, I forgot about Kyle — he adjusts his shirt as he looks over to where Jax and I are staring.

"Are those...?"

"The girls? Yep," Jax replies, crossing his arms as he shakes his head.

Aurelia and Lydia finally approach us, kicking the sand as they walk, giggling with their arms linked.
