The very first magazine that M Industries had published under their name has sold over 50,000 copies. The original plan was to published 1,000 copies but after the curiosity of the public, the Chairwoman approved to produced the amount
"Time Magazine are asking for a glimpse of Ms Manoban. It's a big magazine and will be a good promotion for the company." He added.
"Actually, there are vultures camping in our building hoping they could shot a glimpse of Ms Manoban." Mr Koo who is working in US office.
I looked at the Chairwoman whose silent and listening to the reports.
"M Industries stocks rises +52% after the anouncement. Although there are few negative feedbacks it was covered with the compliments and the curiosity on Ms Manoban. Add the fact that she topped the licensure exam is a plus." Mr Koo continued.
"We should grabbed this chance for promotion. M Finance still needed some boost for consumers. We also need the public appearance for the opening of some services." Mr Lewis, old at 50 said.
M Finance who are only lends money to medium and large businesses will be soon offering an ATM / Credit Card and for Small Enterprisesloans. They already constructed 50 branches, the hiring of staffs and the necessary papers to be sumitted in the local and national government.
"We can always hire celebrities to promote them." I told them.
"But it would be a booster for your image if you are always seen in public. For the future investors." he responded.
"I think Mr. Lewis has a point. Aside from his said reasons, it will also cost us less. Celebrities are expensive and they have a lot of conditions." Mrs. Johnsons.
I looked at the other members and they seem to agreed with the proposal. Then to the Chairwoman whose now looking at me.
"Do you agree, Ms Manoban?" She asked.
"Do i have a choice?" I replied with a cold voice.
"Do it. You are now the face of Manoban Empire. The eyes will always be on you. Now, let's make a use of that and get investors and the consumers." Her statement earned nods from the members.
"Do i really have to? As far as i know i was here to manage your business and not to pose in front of the camera and whatsoever." I replied.
"Lisa.." the old Manoban warned.
"Fine! Fine! But you can never make me fake myself in front of the camera. I'll act whatever i like." I amswered with a frown.
"It's fine. Thank you Lisa."
I just give her a nod and we continued the meeting.
"When are you planning to fly to New York, Lisa?" Chairwoman asked.
"Monday, next week." I replied.
"Only visiting the construction of our new office? Or you have other agendas?" Mr Koo
"Now i have to tell you my appointments?" I frowned.
"Lisa, he is asking nicely."
"I'm not sure. It depends." I answered haughtily.
"One thing you should learn in the business is respect." Mr Koo replied.
I saw others fake their cleaning of their eyeglasses or having to read something but their lips are smirking as if proud with what they heard.
