LISA.

I went back to Fingal. To the place where Rosé and i had so much memories.

I need to think clearly and make decisions.

"What's the last thing you will do but won't do?" Rosie asked. They were hiding on the playground's tree house near Rosie's dorm building.

Another Sunday for us to catch up. I'm in Senior High while Rosie is still a trainee.

"That's hard." I replied.

"Come on, Lisa. Because i have my answer ready." Rosie said cheekily.

"You first."

"The last thing i will do but i won't do is choosing my career over love. If i ever be put in that situation, i'll choose the love of my life even if it cause my career in shambles." She replied

"That's...deep, i guess."

"Even if my career is over, i can still play music. I can teach. I can go back to school. There's no age limit of getting a degree. Or i can just focus on serving that person."

"You have always been a brave person. That person will be the luckiest person to have you." I smiled.

'You are lucky then..'

I pretend i didn't hear what she said.

The last thing i will do but i won't do is to accept your love when i know myself i'm broken and full of hatred. I will just tear you apart.

I broke her.

How fool i am to led her on to something i don't fully believe in?

How fool i am to promise something i am not capable to keep?

"She likes you."

I turned to Alice.

"Oh no, she STILL likes you or more." Emphasizing the word.

"Help her move on." I replied plainly.

She sighed. "I know you love her, Lisa."

"I'll just hurt her in the end so why bother?"

She sighed again. "You reek of pessimism, Lisa."

"I also reek of negativity. Do you know why i pursue Law? To sue my foster and biological parents. Do you know why i accept the job? To take the ownership and ditch them on their own company."

She went still.

"I'm not the same Lisa you first met, Alice. That Lisa who believes there's sunshine after the rain. That Lisa who still smiles despite her issues. That Lisa is long gone. The people i treated as my own family has made me a fully devil incarnate. And the family i have now has made me an object for their own pleasure."

"How about Rosie? How about us? We are your family too."

I didn't reply.

"You have so many issues and only you can close them, Lisa. And i hope you won't let them keep you from getting your happiness." She stood up.

"And yeah, i know you treasure us, so you don't have to answer. Your actions speaks volume."

"What if...what if i already let myself succumb to them?" I looked up to her.
