"Hi Spotify, this is LM. My new album titled Lalisa is out now. Check it out!" I smiled on the camera one last time until i heard my director shouted 'cut'.
I've been recording some short video promotions for different music platforms the whole day already.
I released my album without a live. It's a last minute decision as i had an emergency. Jennie called me Rosie was sent to hospital when i was just getting ready for the live and i immediately left the studio to see her.
"What happened to her?" I asked Jennie and Jisoo.
"Did the reporters saw you?" Jennie asked instead.
"I'm not sure but i saw them in front." I replied.
"She was found unconscious on her room and S--..she was immediately sent here. Someone saw rosie and posted it online, thus the reporters camping outside." Jisoo
"Is there a result already? Have you called Alice and her family?"
"I did. They'll be here soon. How about you? Aren't you should be releasing your debut album?" Jennie frowned.
"Rosie is more important." I replied fast.
"Jisoo-ssi and Jennie-ssi..."
We all turned to the voice.
"Oh, Suzy-ssi." Jennie voiced out.
So she was Bae Suzy. She looks worn out. She's still wearing PJ's. Yet still beautiful.
Just like Rosie..
"Doctor is looking for a relative and uhm.." the woman said still not feeling my presence.
"Where are they? Let's go. And by the way, Suzy-ssi this is Lisa, Rosie's childhood friend." Jisoo introduced.
"Oh, nice to meet you, Lisa-ssi. I'm Bae Suzy." She offered a handshake which i accept.
"I'm Lisa Manoban." I smiled politely.
"We should go, the doctors are waiting."
We followed her. Jennie and i were behind Suzy and Jisoo. And Jennie's nudging me on the sides.
"What?"
"Don't worry. I'm on Team Chaelisa."
I ignored her annoying ass. Rosie is already settled on a private room. We went in and found doctors and nurses assisting on some apparatuses on her.
"Who's the relative of Ms Park?"
"I'm her bestfriend. I'm the closest to her family."
And i don't know why i said those. It's far from reality. We're not bestfriends anymore.
"That will do. Ms Park fell unconscious due to over fatigue..." we listened to them and even saw Jisoo voice recording it.
"She needs to rest and don't overwork herself. She also needs to eat healthy foods and drink vitamis. She is underweight."
"Yes, doc. We'll take care of her." Jennie smiles
"She can go home tomorrow afternoon. She just need to take some medicine and finish her bag."
Bag? Oh dextrose.
"Yes, doc. Thank you."
After the doctors left, that when i felt like i acted without thinking.
Why did i came here?
I've been on the same situation where Rosie got sick but i never bothered sending fruits or asking her. And this wasn't the first time Jennie called me that Rosie is in the hospital.
Why now, Lisa?
And looking at how the actress held Rosie's hand makes me want to walk out and forget this happened. The silence in the room is deafening and awkward.
I don't know what to say. Or if i have the right to say something.
Finally, a phone call breaks the silence and it's from the actress who immediately excuse herself.
"What are you doing here, Lisa?" Jisoo asked.
Her poker faced made me nervous. She's short but she can be really scary.
"I..i got worried."
"She was here before but you never visit. Why now?"
I sighed, "this is different."
"Still the same. Chaeyoung in a hospital. Why bother? You have album release and you ditch it for her?"
Jisoo and i are still friends but it's a different topic when it comes to Rosie.
How can i be so professional and straight forward when i talk about business but can't express my feeling the way i want to?
I was never good in explaining my feelings because no one taught me that.
"I'm talking to you, Lisa as someone who've seen how you hurt my member. If you're not sure with yourself, please don't show up here unannounced. Chaeyoung is okay now. And i don't want to see her break again because of you. I gave you a chance before but i guess you're not ready..and still not ready." She stated.
"I'm sorry."
"If you really want to know how's Chaeyoung. Here's Jennie to give you details. But please don't show up again. Do this for Chaeyoung, Lisa."
I cleared my throat, unable to say anything.
I looked at Rosie.
'It's been a while to see you up close. I miss you.'
"I'm sorry, Jisoo." I uttered.
Jennie gave me a sympathetic gaze which i returned with a small smile. I turned myself to leave.
In the hallway, i saw the actress finished her call and iur gazes met.
"Please love her a lot. Don't be a coward like me." I cleared my throat as my voice broke.
"Take care."
I nodded and walked passed her.
"Ms Lisa, i'm reminding you again that you have a special stage tomorrow at 1PM." Hoshi break my trance.
"Okay. Do i have anything to do today?" I asked him.
"Today are for short video promotions. That's all."
"I'll go now."
I went back to my office and instead of working on the paper works, i stared at the space.
I need to clear my mind or i'm gonna lose shit.
