I wasn't meant to be happy. I'm a walking disaster. A walking shame.
Days passed after Rosie barged in and dumped me for real after all the shits i've done to her. And truth be told, she never came back and blocked my contacts.
And if it's not with my professional problem, i would go crazy thinking of her.
One of my biggest problem solved after the court ruled my case against my alma mater and The Daily Gossip.
While my team are rejoicing for the win, i just sit back on my chair and stare at nothingness.
My first handled case ends up a win.
The court issued removal of licenses of the professors involved of 'sex exchange of good grade' scheme. They gonna pay a huge fine for my team's expenses here in the court. They will be fined for damage of reputation too. For TDG, damage of reputation, invasion of privacy and libel.
"Congratulations Atty. Manoban!"
I looked up to my team and smiled softly. I stood up and accept their handshakes.
"Thank you for your help too."
"This calls for a celebration!" One senior lawyer said.
"Oh, i can't go with you. But the celebration is on me. Go wherever bar or restau you want and order how much your stomach can handle." I stated.
We started leaving the room and on our way out the building, i was swarmed by the reporters.
Another headache.
"Ms Lisa, how are you feeling after the court ruled on your favor?"
"Ms Lisa, the other side says you used money under table to win the case, is it true?"
"Ms Lisa, are you going back making music again?"
They kept shouting me questions as they shoved me with their recorders and blind me with their camera flashes.
Where the hell are my bodyguards?
I reminded myself to fire them.
I didn't bother answering questions and walked to my service. And there my bodyguards standingby who was so engaged with their own circle.
When they heard the door shut, that's when they realized their error.

I opened my laptop and checked my emails. I still have a lot to do. I need to bring back the losses of M Industry. My so-called scandal caused huge losses. Marco and the some board members wanted me out of the company but grandma didn't heed on their selfish requests.
