The fight

Linda's pov 

After Stan finished his speech Mick got up and went into the kitchen with Shirley following him. He came back out alone  about ten minutes later he looked angry. I decided to ask Jessica to go up and get the photo albums it was a bit of a traditon after we eat dinner on christmas we look at old photos but when me moved Jessica hid the albums . She was sitting with her headphones on. She looked up and took her headphones off. " yes" she said. "Will you go and get the photo albums, you are the only one that knows where they are " ""ok, but Lee you have to come with me" "fine". Jessica and Lee went upstairs and came down a few minutes later with the photo albums. 

Jessica's pov

My dad came out of the kitchen looking angry but Shirley didn't come out after him. I was sitting listening to music when I saw my mum talking to me, I took my headphones off to see what she was saying. "yes" "will you go and get the photo albums, you are the only one that knows where they are". This happens every year we have dinner and then we look at old photos. "Ok, but Lee you have to come with me" "fine". Me and Lee went upstairs and went into the sitting room. I had hid them hoping my mum wouldn't find them. I opened the press when a box fell out. It was a little red box, then I remembered. About two months ago I bought two necklaces. They were two halves of a broken heart and when you put them together it is made full. I had them engraved on one side it had L and to infinity and on the other side it had J and beyond on it. So when you put it together it reads L+J to infinity and beyond. Everynight before I got to bed my mum says to ifinity and I say and beyond we have done since I could talk. I put the box in my pocket and handed Lee the photo albums and went back downstairs. 

Mick's pov 

I went back into the bar and Linda told Jessica to go and get the photo albums. We looked at photos for awhile then Linda closed them and put them on the bar we had to start cleaning up if we wanted to open up. Then Shirley walked in with her rapest of a son Dean. "I want him out of my pub" he didn't move. I went over to him and grabbed and threw him and the tables and then grabbed him by the kneck and threw him at the dinner table. "Dad stop it, he's not worth it. Dad please stop!!!" Jessica screamed at me in tears I looked at her and Linda was hugging her she was in tears I could tell she was scared but I couldn't let him get away with this. I just kept hitting him Lee tryed to pull me off him but I just pushed him away. "Mick please stop " Linda screamed at me. "  Mick stop he's your brother " Shirley said. I looked at her in shock. Dean got up and ran out. Nancy and Lee stayed downstairs and cleaned the bar but the rest of us went upstairs. Linda went into the kitchen to get a drink and Shirley, Tina, Jessica, Stan, babe and myself went into the sitting room. " Shirley I want you out" "Mick what was that downstairs. Why did you beat Dean up?" Stan asked me."it doesnt matter"  "it does matter" " just leave it " " no" "her son raped my wife. Dean raped Linda" before I could even realise what I was saying it was to late. " DAD " Jessica shouted and left. 

Jessica's pov 

After the whole scene downstairs me, my dad, my mum, Shirley, Tina, babe and my grandad went upstairs while Lee and Nancey stayed downstairs and cleaned up the bar. My mum went into the kitchen while the rest of went into the sitting room. " Shirley I want you out" my dad said. "Mick what was that downstairs. Why did you beat Dean up?" my grandad asked my dad. "it doesnt matter" "it does matter" " just leave it " " no" "her son raped my wife. Dean raped Linda". I couldn't believe my dad had just told them."DAD" I shouted at him and left. When  I walked out my mum was standing there in tears she walked into her room, I followed her in. I closed the door. "mum he didn't mean to shout it out" "I know he didn't but he promised he wouldn't say anything" she grabbed her suitcase out of the wardrobe and started to pack. "mum please don't go" " I am going to stay with your gran for a few days, if I decide to stay any longer I will come and get you" " mum please". She finished packing I decided to put the necklace into her bag without her knowing. I started to cry my mum sat on the bed beside me. "Jess please don't cry look I am only going for a few days. I love you and don't you forget that. To infinity" " and beyond" she got up of the bed grabbed her bag and jacket and left . After she left I realised she had left her ring, I got up and went downstairs into the bar. 

Linda's pov

I went to go into the sitting room when I heard Mick shout. "Her son raped my wife. Dean raped Linda" I couldn't believe he just told them. "DAD" Jessica shouted and walked out. I walked into my room and Jessica followed me, she closed the door.

"Mum he didn't mean to shout it out" "I know he didn't but he promised he wouldn't say anything"  I grabbed the suitcase out of the wardrobe and started t pack. "Mum please don't  go" "I am going to stay with your gran for a few days, if I decide to stay any longer I will come and get you" "mum please". I finished packing and looked at Jessica she started to cry. I sat on the bed beside her "Jess please don't cry look I am only going for a few days. I love you and don't you forget that. To infinity." "And beyond". I got up grabbed my bag and jacket and left. I went to the tube station and went to my mother's house.
