Chapter 32

Jessica's pov 

We finally arrived in Paris at ten o'clock it's only supposed to take half an hour to get here but our flight got delayed three hours. We have just gotten of the plane and we are going to get our suitcases. After collecting our suitcases we got in a taxi to the hotel. The hotel room was amazing, there was two rooms it was me, Nancy and Lee in one and mum and dad in the other. We dropped our bags in the room and then headed down to the restaurant to get some food. ''So what do you all want to do'' mum said as we sat down at a table ''I want to go shopping'' Lee and dad but sighed ''this trip was for Jessica's birthday so shopping it is'' mum said ''yay'' after we had decided we went over to the buffet to get some food I got some waffles, bacon,fruit and orange juice. After we had finished eating we went back up to the room and got our stuff and went  shopping. We walked around Paris going into different shops I didn't really get anything but I still had a good time. We finished shopping at four o'clock, Nancy and I went down to the pool and went for a swim before dinner. We decided to stay in the hotel room and order room service ''what is everyone getting'' dad asked ''where's the menu'' ''here'' Nancy said while throwing it at me, ''your nearly hit me in the eye with it''. I looked at the menu and couldn't decide weather to get pizza or a burger, I finally decided on pizza. ''I'm ordering the food'' I said while running for the phone I don't know why but for some reason I love ordering room service don't ask why. ''Hello champs elysees plaza how may I help you'' ''hi I would like to order some room service'' ''ok if you could just hold on one moment'' ''ok go ahead'' ''can I get one grilled seabass with a side of chips, a 9'' pepperoni pizza with a side of chips, a seafood linguini, a caesar salad and a beef burger with a side of chips.'' ''ok can I get you any drinks'' ''yes can we have 1 sprite, 1 diet coke, 1 sparkling water and a bottle of white wine'' ''ok when your food and drinks arrive you may be asked for id for the wine'' ''ok, thank you''. After I finished oredering the food we sat and talked. The food arrived twenty minutes later. After we finished eating mum and I went out and sat out on the balcony while the others watched tv. We had a view of the eiffel tower, it was really dark outside so the eiffel tower was lit up and it looked amazing. ''Are you having a good time'' ''yes, its amazing, I couldn't have asked for anything better''  ''I'm happy, the only thing that matters to me is that you're happy, I know this isn't the best time to bring this up but the trial will be starting when we get back'' ''really, ok'' ''you will have to give your statement again'' ''ok'', I forgot about the trial I don't know whether I can stand up in court, I haven't seen him in person since the night I got shot, everytime I close my eyes I see his face. ''All you have to do is answer the questions they ask you and me and your dad will be there''  ''so will Dean'' ''he won't be able to go near you'' ''I just want everything to go back to normal'' I said letting a stray tear fall ''I do too'' ''I can't take it anymore'' ''talk to me, Jess look at me'' I turned my head ''what's going on''  ''everytime I close my eyes I see Dean standing infront of me with a gun, I'm scared to walk anywhere on my own'' ''I taught you were ok after you told your dad and I about the panic attacks'' ''I was for a few weeks but the last week or two, I've started having nightmares again and I just put it down to the trial coming up but I don't know if it is'' ''how about when we get home we can take you to talk to someone'' ''ok''. After we finished talking I went into our room and went to bed.
