Linda's pov We have just got back from the police station and me and Lee are upstairs icing Mick's cake. ''what do you think'' I asked Jessica ''it's a bit lopsided but other than that looks good'' she grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge and left again. She was keeping Mick from the kitchen as well as the cake I was making his favourite dinner. I decided that after dinner I would tell Nancy and Lee the truth about everything. I finished cooking dinner and called everyone in. ''Dinner'' Nancy, Jessica, Lee and Mick came in and sat down. Tina had taken Stan over to Shirley's. We all started eating in silence when Jessica broke the silence when she started to choke on her food. ''Here drink something'' I said while handing her a drink. We all started laughing which caused her to choke even more eventually she had to leave the room to calm down. After she came back in we continued eating and then we lit the candles on the cake. ''Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear dad/Mick, happy birthday to you'' we all sang. ''Dad I haven't got you anything'' Nancy said. ''It's fine'' ''here you go dad it's from all of us'' Jessica said while handing Mick a present. Nancy and Lee looked at her with confused looks. ''you can pay me back later'' she whispered to them. When Mick unwrapped the present it was a signed program from the first football match Mick took all the kids. (a/n I know that Shirley gave him the program but I decided to change it) After I finished cleaning the dinner dishes I knew that it was time to tell the kids. Stan was in the sitting room so I decided to talk to them in mine and Mick's bedroom. Mick was already in our room so I just had to get the kids. "kids could you come into your dad's and my bedroom''. They came in and sat down. Jessica sat at the top of the bed, Nancy and Lee sat on either side of me and Mick sat on the chair at the window in our room. ''When I said I didn't have an affair with Dean it was true I didn't but on the night of Sharon's wedding something did happen '' ''I knew it'' Nancy said. ''no you don't. I didn't tell anyone not at first'' ''tell anyone what'' Nancy asked. ''Dean he.... made me'' ''what do you mean mum'' Lee asked. ''It all happened so quickly I couldn't stop him'' ''did he rape you mum'' Nancy asked. ''yeh, he did'' Nancy and Jessica started to cry and Lee looked like he could kill someone. ''But everything is going to be alright we are going to get through this. We've been to the police that's where we were this morning and you dad's been amazing'' ''I've got to eh..'' Lee said and got up and left. ''Lee'' ''it's alright I've got him''. We sat in silence for about 5 minutes when Lee came back in and Jessica left. ''She knew before today didn't she'' Lee asked me. ''Yes, don't get angry with her I made her and your dad promise they wouldn't say anything'' ''how did she find out'' ''she heard me and Stacey talking a couple of days before Christmas and she put it all together and then on Christmas day she heard me and Dean talking and he admitted it and she videoed it and we gave it to the police''
Jessica's pov After dinner me, Nancy and Lee went into the sitting room and watched tv with my granddad. I don't even know what the show is about I just kept thinking about when mum was going to tell Nancy and Lee about Dean. "kids could you come into your dad's and my bedroom'' my mum called. We all got up and went into their room and sat down. I sat at the top of the bed, my mum sat in between Lee and Nancy and my dad sat on the chair next to the window. Lee said and got up and left. ''Lee'' ''it's alright I've got him''. my dad said while getting up and leaving. We sat in silence for about 5 minutes when Lee came back in. I felt like the room was closing in on me and I couldn't breath I had to get out of here. I got up and ran out. I went into the kitchen and slid down the wall crying. My dad walked in ''Jess there you are, I was looking for you come here'' he helped me up and gave me a hug. I was crying so much that I started to have a panic attack. My dad sat me down on one of the chairs ''Jess you need to focus on your breathing'' I couldn't I started to feel dizzy. ''Jessica try and breath you need to breath properly before you pass out'' just as my dad said that everything went black and I felt myself fall.
Mick's pov After I calmed Lee down he went back up to our room. I followed him up after a few minutes. I walked in and Lee, Nancy and Linda were sitting on the bed talking. I didn't see Jessica. ''L where is Jessica'' ''I don't know she left about five minutes ago I taught she was going to find you'' ''no I'll go look for her'' I left the room when I heard crying coming from the kitchen. I walked in and Jessica was sitting on the ground crying. ''Jess there you are, I was looking for you come here''I helped her up and gave her a hug. While I was hugging her, her breathing changed and I quickly realized she was having a panic attack. I sat her down and bent down to her level. ''Jess you need to focus on your breathing'' her breathing didn't change. ''Jessica try and breath you need to breath properly before you pass out'' just as I said that she passed out luckily I caught her before she hit the ground. ''Jessica, Jess'' just then Linda walked in. ''What happened'' ''she was crying and then she started to have a panic attack and then she passed out. She bent down beside her. ''Jess'' then Jessica's eye opened. ''hey'' she started to sit up and then went back down again. ''Take it slowly'' Linda said to her. ''come on let's put you to bed you're probably tired'' she nodded and I picked her and put her in her bed. Once I put her in the bed she fell asleep. I went back down to the bar.
