2 years from now

Naruto had agreed to go train with Jiraiya to get stronger for Sasuke. He didn't want Sasuke to become a vessel for Orochimaru, no, he won't let Sasuke become a vessel for Orochimaru. 

He just...couldn't. 

As Naruto  prepares to leave for his two-and-a-half years of training with (who had returned with information about the Akatsuki's plans), the others discuss the future and resolve to train harder to keep up with Naruto.

Naruto took once last glance at his home, Konoha, before waving goodbye to everyone to go train for two years.

Hinata and the others watches him head off with Jiraiya, hoping he'll become emotionally and physically stronger. Not only for himself but for Sasuke. 

"Hey...Pervy Sage?" 

"My name is not-ugh forget it. What?" 

"Will the skills you teach me be able to bring Sasuke back?" 

"I couldn't tell you that even if I had the answer. You have to train hard to be strong enough to bring him back, and knowing how you two became emotionally bonded. I see that both words and actions will have to work with him." 

"I'm not good with words Pervy Sage." Naruto said. 

"You have two years to figure that out." 

"Hey...um..." 

"Hmm?" 

"Can I...ask you something?" 

"What is it?"

"Is it possible for two guys...t-to um...f-fall in love?"

 Jiraiya raised an eyebrow and made a thinking face. "Hmm..."

Naruto looked at Jiraiya as he waited for an answer. 

"Naruto, I might be a straight man with thoughts only about women, but in my opinion it is possible for two guys to fall in love. Not everyone will see it as normal of course, but if you really love him and is willing to die for him. I believe that two guys can fall in love." 

"Thanks for the words Pervy Sage." Naruto smiled. "I can't wait to bring Sasuke back to properly tell him my feelings." 

"Now that Tsunade is Hokage, I bet she'll have a blast seeing you two loved up in Konoha if you do manage to bring him back." 

Naruto blushed. "P-Pervy Sage!" 

Jiraiya barks out a laugh. "She'll even tell Sasuke about you fighting with her and betting to be Hokage." 

Naruto looked down embarrassed and mumbled. "Shut up. She'll act like my grandma then." 

"You think she doesn't see you as her own grandchild? You helped her come back to Konoha to be Hokage, she respects you dearly." Jiraiya frowns. "More than me even." 

Naruto sighed. "You're just upset that she'll be hugging me with her breasts all on my face." 

Jiraiya wore a pervy smile as he groped the air. "106 centimeters." 

Naruto wore a disgusting look. "Always a perv." 

"Anyways." Jiraiya put his hands on his bag straps and wore a neutral expression. "Your goal 2 years from now is to save Sasuke and become a respected ninja, right?" 

"Yes." 

"Then let's be sure to make that happen." 

"Right!"
