I'm a boy with a heart, dattebayo

When Team 7 returns to Konoha, Tsunade tells the trio to return home and stay there until she assigns them a new mission. As they walk home, Naruto asks Sakura to go on a walk, but is rejected by her when she tells him that Tsunade said to go home. 

Sai is observing their bond from the back and attempts to create his own with them by waving goodbye, but the two disappear before he can do so.

Naruto walked into his cold, quiet home and kicked off his shoes. He dragged his body to his bed to lay on it, which didn't help his mood since all of he could think about is what Sasuke said. 

"He wants to kill me?" Naruto mumbled, his eyes staring at his ceiling. 

Naruto sighed, his thoughts raced with things from Sasuke's voice that somehow gotten deeper and more attractive to his new formed abs that caught Naruto's eyes. Naruto touched his waist and almost thought electricity could be felt though out his whole body. His skin was so smooth and soft, it almost made Naruto say something that nagged on his brain the entire time he was touching Sasuke.

'Make me yours, Sasuke.' Is what Naruto wanted to say, along with; 'I love you, Sasuke."  

But all Sasuke would've replied with is a cold and harsh 'No'. 

Jiraiya already explained to Naruto about the basics of hormones and everything, but Naruto has been training for so long that he never experienced his own hormones-not until he reunited with Sasuke. 

Naruto used his forearm to cover his eyes and bit his bottom lip. "Sasuke..." 

Before Naruto knew it, he had fallen asleep.

Sasuke sat on Naruto's bed, just a few feet away from him, and wore a loose plan black tee shirt with sweatpants. His soft eyes looked at Naruto with fondness, and his cheeks were red that spread up to his ears. He had a small grin on his lips, and he was leaning back on his hands while Naruto sat criss-crossed on his bed staring at Sasuke. 

Naruto didn't know what came over him, and yanked Sasuke by the collar of his tee shirt to pull him in a passionate kiss that seemed to quench the deprivation they both had. 

Sasuke hovered over Naruto, and Naruto wrapped his arms around Sasuke's neck pulling him closer. His tongue slid effortlessly into Sasuke's mouth, while Sasuke's slid his into Naruto's and tilted his head to deepen the kiss. 

"Sasuke..." Naruto said in a breathy voice, his eyes half-closed and his only thought was to connect their lips again-which he did. 

Sasuke's hand traveled to Naruto's stomach, where the Sealing mark was, and let his hands linger there for the remainder of the time. 

"Naruto..." Sasuke said, playfully biting down on Naruto's bottom lip and pulling it back before letting go of it to continue kissing him. 

Naruto ran his fingers through Sasuke's hair and grabbed a handful of it to gently pull on it. He moved his hands down to Sasuke's back, and back up to his neck. 

"Naruto," Sasuke pulled away from the kiss. "We can't do this." 

"W-What? Why?" Naruto asked confused. 

"I don't know...if I want to trust anyone right now. I'm getting to close to you...this is dangerous." 

"Sasuke, please don't leave me." Naruto pulled Sasuke in for another kiss but Sasuke didn't kiss back. "Sasuke..." 

"Naruto, accept it, I can't love you until I learn to trust someone again." 

"I can show you, Sasuke, I can." 

"You can't, Naruto. You don't know what it's like to lose someone close to you." 

"Sasuke-" Naruto was cut off by Sasuke's lips, but Sasuke pulled away before Naruto could react. 

"I'm sorry, Naruto, I am. I have to go, Orochimaru needs my body as a vessel." Sasuke stood up off the bed, and Naruto quickly sat up. 

"Sasuke! No! Don't go!" Naruto shouted, but Sasuke walked away with Orochimaru anyway.

Naruto woke up in sweat and was panting, he held his head in his hand and recollected himself. 

"It was just a dream." Naruto said, jumping out of bed to go to his rest room. "Just a dream..."

Naruto met up with Sakura and Sai at the library, and tried to look as 'normal' as he could. 

"Hey Sakura-chan!" Naruto exclaimed skipping over to her. 

Sakura, unfazed, waved at Naruto. "Hey Naruto, you don't need to wear that mask around me." 

"What mask?" 

Sakura points at Naruto's face. "That one. You're sad, aren't you? I know you are, all of us are." 

Naruto's fake smile dropped to a frown. "Why are you so good at separating the fake from the real?" 

"Anyone could've saw that mask. You love Sasuke, and he rejected you for the third time, right?" 

"H-Huh?" 

"Once must've been when you confessed, the other time was when he left Konoha, and the third time was when you reunited with him." 

"I guess, yeah..." Naruto looked down. 

Sai didn't speak, instead his eyes stayed on a book he was holding. 

Sakura smiled at Naruto. "Hey, you never know, he might accept you one day." 

"You're in pain too, aren't you Sakura-chan?" 

Sakura waved Naruto off and dismissed his comment. "Nope, i'm fine, just a minor heartbreak. Anybody can get over that." 

"You don't have to lie, dattebayo." 

"I'm not." 

Naruto pointed at Sai's book. "What are you reading, Sai?" 

Sai looked up at Naruto. "How to bond with friends." 

"Really? Any luck?" 

"So far all I have is 'be nice' and 'listen to them'." 

Naruto giggled. "Yeah, you failed the first part. 'Be nice' you made fun of my size." 

"Yeah, speaking of that, I think you need to get that checked out." 

Naruto huffed. "I am an average size!" 

"Below average." 

Sakura pinched the bridge of her nose with her index finger and thumb at Sai and Naruto's petty disagreement. 

"Someone will appreciate my size, dattebayo!" Naruto crossed his arms and looked away. 

"Someone, hmm, well no one wants a boy without a heart." 

Naruto side-eyed Sai. "You are wrong! I'm a boy with a heart, dattebayo!" 

"Hope that heart covers up the small size." 

"I am average!" 

"The way I saw it, I think you need to get a growth spurt to save it." 

Naruto was about to answer but was stopped by Sakura, who hit him on the back of the head. "Ow! Sakura-chan!" 

"Can you not talk about your thing in front of me?" 

Naruto pouted. "I was only proving him wrong." 

"Boys these days." Sakura rolls her eyes. 

Naruto rubbed the back of his head. "Ino will never love you now." he mumbled. 

"What did you say, Naruto?!" 

"Gah! Nothing!"
