Welcome to my home, Sasuke

That early morning, a guard knocked on their cell to wake them up.

Naruto was escorted outside with Shikamaru, and Sasuke was put into solitary confinement.

It was fine for the first five to six hours, Sasuke went back to sleep, ate, read a book, and walked to a room to be interviewed.

But when afternoon rolled around, Sasuke couldn't sit still, he was starting to miss Naruto a little bit.

Instead of worrying about whether Naruto was alright or catching a cold, he reread all the books he was given for the third time.

He didn't notice he was growing ansty, until it was lights out and he couldn't fall asleep without Naruto for the first time in months.

"Ugh..." Sasuke eyed the books he finished reading, thought about reading them again, but ignored the thought to try to sleep.

It took him four hours to get some shut eye that night.

When the 48 hours were up, Sasuke received a knock on his cell.

"It's your lucky day, Uchiha." The man said to Sasuke. "He finished right on time, he's just getting medical attention before coming to the cell with you. Collect everything and follow me." The man unlocked the cell, and stood there waiting for Sasuke to pick everything up and follow him.

Sasuke grabbed everything he had owned, which was not much, and followed the man to his new cell. The door clicked when the man locked it, so now all Sasuke has to do. Is wait.

Sasuke counted 1,809 clock ticks, before the sound of Naruto's voice echoed down the hallway.

Naruto didn't even get a chance to step one foot inside the cell before Sasuke embraced him. "Woah! Sasuke! Are you-" Sasuke interrupted him.

"How did you get hurt?"

The cell was locked again, leaving the two guys alone.

"I fell down from the roof, sorry I was being clumsy."

"At least you're alright." Sasuke looked up into Naruto's eyes. The missing headband didn't even faze him, though Kakashi confiscated it for the meantime.

"I'm still getting used to you acting like this, haha." Naruto said, hugging Sasuke back. "I'm not complaining though, this is nice."

"Shut up and cuddle me, loser. I'm touch deprived." Sasuke yanked Naruto onto the bed, and held onto him tight-scared if he let go. It'll be another dream he'll wake up from.

"I missed you, Sasuke."

"I know. I miss you too, Naruto."

"Na, Sasuke, I can't wait to train with you again. I think my body is starting to wear down."

"It's only been a few days."

"A few days too long."

"After we relax on our first day out, we'll train together, which will be supervised by someone."

"They think you'll leave the village again."

"I don't have a reason to leave this time, unless you leave the village."

"I won't leave. This is my home."

"This is my home too."

"Yeah, it is." Naruto combed his fingers through Sasuke's hair. "Sakura asked about you."

"What did you say to her?"

"That you and I are dating, and you're probably worried about me."

"She probably cried, right?"

"Actually, she smiled and congratulated us."

"Wonder why."

"She didn't say why, but she must've lost feelings for you and still supports us."

"Hopefully it's Ino she falls in love with."

"You noticed their connection too?"

"Who wouldn't? They're two people that fought over someone, but have the best chemistry if they tried to sit down and talk."

"I thought the same, so I put them together."

"You did?"

"Yep. I'll find out when I can."

"Sakura probably is waiting for the right time to say something."

"I guess she is."

"You two served your time, but you are not allowed out of the village for a while. Meaning," Kakashi eyes Naruto. "No missions, no tag-alongs, and no headband."

"But my forehead feels naked, sensei." Naruto whined.

"Should've thought about that before running away for six plus months." Kakashi said.

"Ugh..."

"Go do whatever, but don't cause trouble."

"Okay sensei."

"And Sasuke." Kakashi eyed Sasuke. "If you have any negative feelings or strong emotions towards someone, tell us or me first before acting out next time."

Sasuke bowed. "Yes sensei."

"You can take your leave now." Kakashi said.

Naruto and Sasuke walked to Naruto's home, the sunset lighting their path there.

Once they arrived, Naruto smiled at Sasuke.

"What?" Sasuke asked.

"Welcome to my home, Sasuke."

"Yeah, thanks for inviting me, Naruto."
