She's broken on the inside
But no one sees the feelings she hides
She's been torn up and let down
By this crooked town
She hides a thousand tears
Behind a bright smile
She laughs
But she cries
She smiles
But she dies every night
In the darkness of the world
Up in her room
There where she cries
There where she breaks down
And screams in silence
Up in her room
