A Thing

"Dude, you've got to relax." Sam instructed, as I swept up the wreck my father had left behind. I knew what he was talking about. He thought that I had freaked out way too much about Cas kissing me.

I mean, it wasn't the first time it had happened. It wasn't a big deal, and Sam didn't know why I was blowing everything out of porportions.

I tried my hardest to block my little brother out, but I hadn't quite mastered that skill yet. He kept rambling on.

He chuckled. "That kiss you two shared, that kiss was stunning." He said, for lack of a better word. Stunning? What a dork.

"And you wonder why I think you're gay." I harrassed him. I swept up the last of the broken glass, and threw it in the trash.

Sam spoke again. "You know, you're not officially dating Cas yet. If you were to ask him out, what would you say?"

That was an interesting question and took some time to think about. "I would tell him that I'm sorry. Sorry I hadn't asked him sooner and if the answer is no, sorry for iritating him."

I paused for a moment, recollecting my thoughts. "I'd tell him that he has the most gorgeous blue eyes I've ever seen. They are like a river of blue"

I worried that it was sounding too chick flicky, but I continued. "I would be honored if you, Castiel Novak, would date me, Dean Winchester."

Sam chuckled, but I heard another voice speak. "I do." Sam held up my phone and a look of horror was displayed on my face.

"I'm going to kill you Sam Winchester." I darted to the side table, picking up Sam's phone, scrolling through his contacts till I saw her name.

"What the hell are you doing Dean?" Sam asked. I could hear laughter coming from Cas, probably confused yet amused as to what was going on.

I held the phone to my ear and waited. "Hello?" A girl's soft voice filled my ears, and the revenge began.

"Hello, this is Jess, right? Well Jess, my brother, Sam, is in love with you. There are some things you should know before dating him however...."

Sam was as pale as a sheet, ripping the phone out of my hands. "Oh my God! I'm so sorry Jess." Sam started to blush.

I couldn't stop laughing. Sam tried to clean up the mess I had created for him, and I was literally rolling on the floor, laughing.

Sam finished his phone call and gave me the best bitchface I have seen of his yet. "You know I'm still here?" Cas interrupted Sam's glare.

"I guess we're a thing now?" I questioned Castiel. I liked it, although I didn't like the way it had occured.

"Yes, Dean. We are offiicially a thing."

A\N Hey, I know it's been a while, but I've been in over my head with things. The chapter is kind of short, but thorough and needed. I hope you like it. I'm going to get kind of deep and preachy on you in the next chapter. See, I need to just say a few things, so I'm going to publish my thoughts as a new entry, but it won't be a new chapter. It's important, but not part of the story. Hope I'm not confusing you. It'll make sense once you read it. Thanks!
