-You weren't at church!
I read the text from my best friend Bethany. I looked at the time on my phone, 12:04. Damn, I slept in.

Me-You hungry? Parents aren't home. I'll cook something.
Beth- Ya. What should I tell my mom? Lol.
Me- I'm sick and you're coming to take care of the ill as the bible calls us to do!
Beth- Haha. Kk. Be there soon.

I started frying some bacon when Bethany arrived. "Sup?" She said. Bethany was the kind of person who didn't really give a damn.

She had bright blood red hair, a pierced nose and an attitude to match. She was a lively, spunky girl who I had grown really close to.

Anna entered the kitchen. Her red hair was a mess and her face was pale. I wondered how late they had stayed up. Dean trailed behind.

"Castiel is sick." Bethany said. Anna nodded and took a seat at the table. Dean lingered in the kitchen entryway.

"Wait, why do you get to be sick?" Anna asked. Dean was now genuinely confused. I sighed.

"You were sick last week." I began to explain. "If you're sick twice it'll get suspicious. I'm sick Bethany is taking care of me. Ok?"

She nodded. Bethany noticed Dean and walked over to introduce herself. "I'm Bethany." She said with a cheerful smile. "You must be Castiel's boyfriend."

Dean blushed and so did I. I knew what Bethany was doing. She knew that I wasn't sure about what gender I was in to and I knew, as she would say, she shipped us.

"I didn't know Cas was into guys." Dean said. This statement brought several thoughts to my mind.

Cas? Out of all the stupid nicknames I had obtained, Cas? I kind of liked it. It was, after all, given to me by the beautiful Dean Winchester.

Secondly, his comment about me being into guys was unexpected. Most of the guys at the high school would give me shit about it.

Dean Winchester, however, only asked about my preference. Too bad that I didn't even know the answer to that.

"I'm not." I finally corrected Dean. Bethany smirked and I wished that she'd not said anything.

"Not yet anyway." Bethany mumbled. "Oh, word vomit. My bad." She said and smiled again. Word vomit? Quoting things again.

I hated her so much, but that's the thing with Bethany. You can only hate her for so long. It's especially hard to hate her after she starts quoting mean girls.

Beth had forced me to watch mean girls a long time ago. Dean found the quote funny and he laughed, apparently getting the reference.

Anna suddenly jumped out of her seat. "We were supposed to watch Lisa's kid today! Crap!" The shock and realization came over Bethany's face.

Anna and Bethany both babysat together. It was their small business. I watched both girls collect their things and head towards the door.

"Sorry Dean." Anna said. She kissed him gently on the cheek and ran out the door leaving me alone with the cutest man alive.

"Is it alright if I stay here for a bit? My brother's at a friend's house and my dad's never home." Dean asked.

What do I say? No? That would be rude. I didn't care if he stayed, I shouldn't at least. Why would I?

"Yes, that's fine. You can stay."
