Dreams

I can hear what everyone is saying. I want to wake up so badly, but something is keeping me under. I want to get away from these horrible dreams. I can hear my Mom crying almost every night before she leaves to go home. Damon comes almost everyday after school. Damon always sits with me and talks about his day at school and all the homework and class lessons I'm missing. Rachel and Emily have visited a couple of times. I have had a couple teachers and other classmates from school visit too. One night after everyone left, I felt something come into my room, it didn't feel human, it came up to me and whispered in my ear.

 It said, "We are coming for you, we know where you are and we are coming, Rose."

 Ever since that thing visited I have wanted to wake up so much. I keep having nightmares ever since that thing visited me that one night. The nightmares began where I'm fighting someone and I keep losing the fight and I keep dying over and over.

 Sometimes it starts where I'm running to save Damon from the evil creature, and it always kills Damon before I can save him. I hear whispers in my head saying that this is my fate and I can't change it or save it. I don't want to lose anyone I love. In another one of my dreams a beautiful woman appeared and told me of my fate saying that on my 18th birthday I was going to get a second power. I was excited and scared at the same time. 

She said that I will need to get control on my powers or they will consume me and take over. I'm suppose to defeat the dark one the one that wants my powers. She also told me that Damon is my soulmate and he is going to help me in the future that is to come.

1 Week Later

I opened my eyes to see Damon looking out the window, I try and say his name but nothing comes out. I try and clear my throat and I do. I try and say his name again but it comes out raspy. This time I think Damon heard me. He turns around and looks at me. 

I see tears coming from his eyes, he walks up to me and kisses me on the lips.

 I kiss him back. 

"I have missed hearing you say my name so much," Damon tells me.

 I laugh at him and smile. Damon smile brightens up the room. He is so handsome. I'm so lucky to have him as a boyfriend. 

"I'm going to call your parents and tell him that you're awake," He says. 

"Ok," I say.

 I reach over and grab the glass of water from the table and take a few drinks.

 Damon comes back in and sits down right next to me and takes my hand and kisses it. 

"Damon I have to tell you something," I tell him.

 "What is it love." Damon asks me. 

"I could hear everything you and my parents saying and when I was out I kept having dreams and something visited me and told me that it was coming for me and that I'm destined to save the world and that you are my soul mate and that I'm getting a second power on my 18th birthday." I told him. 

I stared at my hands for a couple of minutes and when I finally looked up and I saw that Damon was just staring at me.

 "You're my soul mate," Damon says.

 I nod my head yes and look back down at my hands. I felt Damon get up and he gently grabbed my chin to make me look at him. He leaned down and gently kissed me. I kissed him back and put my hands in his hair and he depended the kiss. I hear a noise and I pull back to see my parents in the doorway. 

My Dad looks mad and my Mom just looks at me like 'oo you got caught'. I looked back at her and gave her a look. I look over at Damon and his face was a little red. I laughed at him and he gave me a glare. I laughed even more.

 "Honey, I'm so happy to see you awake," My mom told me.

 I smiled at her and hugged her. My Father came over and kissed me on the forehead.

 "So how long have I been out," I ask. 

"You have been out for a month," My Father told me.

 My mouth about dropped open. I have been out for a month. That is a long time. I have missed a lot of school I thought. I heard a knock on the door and the doctor came in. 

"I heard that you have awoken sleeping beauty," The doctor said. 

"Hello, doctor it's nice to meet you," I say to her.

 "So we need to do a few tests on you since you have woken up. If that is ok with your parents," She told us. 

"Yes that is fine," My mother told the doctor. 

After the tests were done they took me back into the room where I have been staying in. When I came back into the Damon is sitting in the chair and Emily and Rachel are now sitting at the table in the corner of the room. 

"Hey, girly, how you doing?" Rachel asks me. 

"I'm fine, they just finished some tests they needed to do," I told them.

 "You have missed a lot of school," Emily told me. 

"I know, I'm actually I'm thinking about doing online schooling instead of regular school, so I can catch up," I told them.

 "That sounds cool," Rachel told me.

 "Yeah, I still need to ask my parents about it," I told them.

 My parents walk in with the doctor.

 "Hey, Mom do you think I could take online classes instead of going to school,because I've missed so much school," I ask them. 

My mom looks and at my Dad and I give them some puppy dog eyes and my Mom finally huffed and said yes. I kind of jumped up and down in my bed. 

"So is there anything wrong in the tests," I ask the doctor.

"No, you are doing just fine. I think you can leave in a couple of days, actually," The doctor tells us.

 We all say thank you and she leaves us alone and shuts the door as she leaves. 

"If this is hard to answer, you don't have to." My mom tells me. 

I nod my head at her and she continues, " What happened that night at prom," She asks me.

 "I got a text from Damon saying to meet him outside after he told me that he was going to go get us a drink. So I walked out of the gym and walked around for a couple of minutes and when I started to head back into the gym, someone pushed me into the ground and started to beat me up." I told everybody. I looked over at Damon and he had tears running down his face. I reached out and wiped them away. 

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

 "So it's my fault that you went into this coma," He told me. 

"Damon did you text me to meet you outside?" I ask him. 

"No," He said.

 "So it's not your fault," I told him and pulled him down into a hug.

 He hugged me back.

 "Did they find anything on the video camera," I ask my Dad.

 "No, they were turned off before prom. They said someone did it on purpose," My father told me. 

"Well, I need to share something with you guys," I told my parents. 

"What is that sweetie," My Mother says.

 "Well, while I was out and kept having this really bad nightmares and then out of nowhere there was a beautiful women telling me about how when I turn 18 that I will get a second power and that Damon is my soul mate and that I have to save the world," I tell them.

 Rachel and Emily's eye's looked like there were about to pop out of their heads. My parent's looked shocked. My Mother suddenly sat down and put a hand to her head. 

"I can't believe that my baby girl is going to save the world," She says.

 I look over at her and gave her a small smile.
