Levi's hand shot out, gripping the man by the throat, lifting him up in the air. He then pulled the man closer to him and bit down, hard right on the side of the neck. Blood poured into Levi's mouth.

Everything made sense suddenly...to Levi.

Strength coursed through his veins.

Why shouldn't the strong prey on the weak?

The natural order of things.

Humans were animals, they just used to think they were the highest on the food chain.

When they were not.

Vampires were.

A low growl rumbled from Levi's chest as he drank, not stopping until the human that had held him down as a child and forced him to watch that women being raped was drained.

He dropped the body carelessly to the floor.

Electricity ran through his veins.

Levi's pupils expanded and he took a sharp intake of breath.

He didn't know that the reason why he hadn't been shot with any hemlock yet was because Levi had moved and drained the human closest to him in a matter of seconds, no time for anyone to react.

Levi didn't bother to control the hunger that was smothering him inside.

Levi's eyes locked onto the other humans that were surrounding them.

His eyes practically bled red into them.

Such easy pickings.

It felt like food was being handed to him on a silver platter.

Levi moved again and again so fast the humans could barely track him, he was in front of them before they knew it, throwing away their guns then biting deep into their necks then drinking greedily.

"Erwin" Hange gasped.

Erwin who had been staring at Levi looked at her then looked upwards to where Hange was looking.

His eyes widened as realisation to what was going on, especially with Levi suddenly made a lot more sense.

The wind had picked up quite quickly, suddenly it seemed to be howling in their ears and the clouds!

They had become dark and menacing, moving quickly.

The temperature had dropped, dropped so much that if Erwin forced himself to breath he could see his own breath in the air.

Maybe, maybe if the weather cast had been stormy, or maybe if the weather hadn't been completely calm seconds ago Erwin wouldn't have believed it.

The weather had changed it a matter of seconds, in the same amount of time it had taken Levi to drain the first human that had somehow enraged Levi so much.

The simple fact was the weather does not change this quickly, so someone must be controlling it...

Erwin's eyes went back to Levi, who was currently draining another human quite savagely nearby.

Levi had finally gotten his abnormal power....

Levi didn't know what was happening. All he knew was that he was thirsty and there happened to be a lot of prey around, soothing the hunger inside.

He dropped the last human carelessly, he licked his lips, tasting the crimson that kissed his lips, it tasted marvellous.

He looked around, looking for any more humans nearby but so far could see none to his disappointment, so he kept on looking.
