Erwin stared up at Levi.

He had only seen a glimpse of what Levi could do when he had killed that guard now he was being given the full view and it was a frightining sight.

He understood Levi could not become his enemy.

An enemy that could control the weather, Erwin shuddered to think.

"Okay!" Erwin said, giving in.

Suddenly the weather stilled, the rain stopped and everything went back to normal very quickly.

Levi stood there, watching him with narrowed eyes. Though the storm had stopped Levi didn't look any less scary, his eyes still a deep cold red.

"I promise not to force you to do anything you don't want to do" Erwin said slowly.

Levi regarded him for a few seconds before sharply nodding then turning away "Well? Isn't there a plant you need to take care of?" He said a little mockingly.

Erwin scowled at Levi as he grabbed the bullet from his chest, ignoring the sting and throw it to the ground, Hange and Mike doing the same thing.

He stood up first, Mike and Hange following him.

When Levi turned to face them once more his eyes were no longer red, he looked more normal and less like the monster that had killed the men around them.

Levi frowned, it felt like he'd come out of a trance.

He blinked, looking at the devastation around him.

"Erwin?" He muttered, the other vampires were looking at him warily.

"Its okay, all abnormals go through a stage like this when they get their abnormal power, when they embrace their vampire nature though yours was a little...different from what I'm used to I have to say" Erwin said, making sure Levi knew he didn't blame him.

"Different? He almost killed us" Mike snapped.

Levi expected himself to feel a little hurt from what Mike had said but nothing came.

He felt so different....

So...less like a human.

Hange explained, walking closer to Levi "As soon as an abnormal turns, they're body becomes like us, a vampire, the mind, the brain and the way you think still works the same though, it still believes your human, even though you're not. The only thing that actually still works in your body is your brain"

Levi listened to her with wrapped attention.

"You're brain still reacts as normal, not noticing the changes. Thats mostly why sometimes it takes a abnormal so long to get their power. You are a vampire in body and instincts but you still think and feel like a human"

Erwin added "As soon as you accept your nature all of that stops. You can feel emotions like any other species but they are more numb. And the way you think changes. Its a big transition to get used to"

"That doesn't give him an excuse" Mike said, eyes narrowing on Levi.

Levi hardly focused on Mike.

Everything felt so different now...

He looked at Mike, at Hange and Erwin and really saw them, saw them like he'd never seen them before.

The way they stood.

The way their bodies moved.

Everything was different.
