You're One Of Us Now, Right?

The lights flickered on and of as Levi checked every room, running faster than he thought possible. He could practically hear the Skin Walker laughter ringing in his ears.

He needed answers!

Levi cursed loudly as he stopped it the last empty room. No one there. Where the fuck was it? Why did it decide to play this game with him?

Hange came in behind him.

"You found it yet?" She asked.

Levi gave her no warning, suddenly she was up against the wall, Levi's fingers digging into her neck.

"Maybe!" He snapped.

For a moment Hange stared at him in pain and shock then just as Levi was beginning to doubt, she smiled, her eyes glowed purple.

"Well done, how did you know?" It sounded generally curious as if Levi wasn't threatening its life.

"You didn't smell of anything, nothing. Hange smells of chemicals and death. You smelt of nothing" Levi growled.

"Mmm, it is true we don't have scent but most newbie vampires don't pick that up early on" It said, sounding a little impressed?

"Now tell me, who the blood master is!" Levi snapped.

The Skin Walker laughed loudly, almost manically "Oh Levi" It giggled "I've already told you"

Levi snarled, tightening its grasp on it "What are you talking about! You never told me anything?"

It giggled then the Skin Walker changed once again.

Levi almost dropped it...or was it her?

A women was in front of him, she had long blonde hair and bright blue eyes, she smiled at him, a slight purple tinge to her eyes.

"This...this is your true form?" Levi muttered, eyes raking her.

"What? Not what you were expecting, where you expecting a monster?" She giggled, her voice higher than before.

"Monsters come in all shapes and sizes" Levi said coldly.

"You'd know, wouldn't you?" She said, smirking.

Levi's eyes narrowed dangerously. He tightened his choke hold. 

"I've come with a warning" She said. 

"Warning?" Levi repeated incredibly. 

"She sent me" The Skin Walker said, lowering her voice. 

"Who!" Levi demanded. 

"Oh Levi, you didn't think Erwin clocked on to you by accident did you? She told him about you" She said, sounding patronisingly. 

"Who did!" Levi growled, feeling his pationence leaving him. 

"Why Fate did of course" She replied humorously. 

"I don't have time for you to mess around!" Levi snarled, teeth bared. 

The Skin Walker broke into a laugh, the laugh loud and clear but sounded a little bitter, she suddenly grabbed his shirt, pulling him closer. 

"They're coming for me, I don't have much time. I'm not sure why Levi but she has chosen you. Chosen you to save humanity, and chosen a few others, only you can use his abilities without being corrupted you and if she chooses anyone else"

Levi felt desperation and frustration grip him.

"Use who's abilities! Speak Women!"

"A boy, a boy called Eren Yeager, he is the key to save us but also if he comes into the wrong hands..." She shivered.

Eren...Yeager?

Who on earth was that?

How did he fit into all of this?!

Suddenly Levi could hear foot steps coming closer and the shape shifter before him breathing picked up, her speech hurried and a little more panicked.

"Their are spies, spies in the walls, traitors all around you, don't trust your own shadow! Now that you are involved you can not turn back. He is after you Levi. The Blood Master is after you! Him and demons beneath our feet are awakening. If you do not act Soul Eaters will have you. They will devourer you Levi! Then the Blood Master will destroy you" 

Levi could feel her heart pounding in her chest, she suddenly smelt...fearful? The footsteps came closer.

Was she...crying?

The Skin Walker stifled a sob as she cried out "She said I wouldn't be coming back from this trip, now I see she was right, I wish I said goodbye to my son like she suggested, would you do that for me Levi? Tell him my goodbye when you meet him? She said you would meet him!"

This was getting out of control!

Levi spluttered "I-!" But she interrupted him sharply, her tone panicked, fearful but also demanded attention.

"Listen Levi what ever you do, do not trust E-!"

BANG!

A gun shot.

The Skin Walker was shot.,

Her body fell to the floor.

Levi whiled around, faced with Hange and Mike.

Mike holding a smoking gun.

Before he could shout at them Hange ran towards him then checked him over, her voice extremely worried "Are you okay? You're not hurt or anything are you? Levi? Levi? I thought it might have killed you! Sly, tricky things Skin Walkers. Levi, answer me?!"

Levi blinked at her.

Wait...?

"You were worried about me?"

"Of course I was" Hange huffed, glowering at him.

"Why wouldn't we be?" Mike asked, he gave Levi a surprisingly warm smile that had been missing after he'd found out about Levi's past.

"You're one of us now, right?" Mike said.

Levi should of felt at least a small amount of happiness.

But why?

When he replied "Right, one of you, of course"

Did he feel... like something was missing?
