~*Jay POV*~

As I head out the door my wolf howls. He demands me to go back to her but I shut him up with a command. Strange that my wolf has gotten much stronger since being freed.

With my family being Omegas it was expected for my wolf to be weaker once shifting. But the kiss in the main house proved that wrong. I know that I had Omega genes but my wolf was defiantly showing otherwise.

Claire is one amazing girl though. I hate that she’s 15 and I'm almost 18. It feels wrong but my heart disagrees.

I enter my house to find my sister laying on the couch and Mother in the kitchen. I sneak up behind the couch and kick it startling my sister, Audrey.

She jumps up and hollers but stops suddenly, "Jay I thought you had been beat again. Where are the bruises and the black eye you always sport?"

I touch my eye to find that it's not sore. I start to laugh when my wolf reminds me with his presence. "Oh my, Mother didn't tell. Your oh so little brother is now the big bad wolf with a very powerful mate."

I watched as her jaw dropped. She ran to the kitchen questioning mom. I listen in with my new hearing. Mom confirmed every word. Lisa, my sister, came running back and tackled me. "Well you know what this means. Our nephews will take their anger out more. And I, as your older sister by 10 minutes, I can pick on you more. And I want to meet this Mate."

Mother cuts me off before I can deny her request. "I already called dibs on the meeting!"

I sigh. "Maybe I can invite Claire over tomorrow night. But she's new here and seems to have had a bad past. I want her to know that she's welcome and safe. Not over crowed and to muchly relied on. She seems to be the Lycan of Legend but we don't know for sure. If I bring her over I don't want her pressured into answering every little question you two have."

Lisa mocks me with her hand. "Blah, blah, blah. If I want to ask my future sister questions then I will."

I ignore her and go to the kitchen where mom is finishing up the fried chicken. "I'll make something fancy for dinner tomorrow night just for Claire."

A few hours later I lay in bed remembering my lost in control before I kissed Claire. My wolf had done that but I enjoyed every second. The way she looked at me made my heart burn for her. And her skin made sparks fly when it touched mine.

The way she looked at me when I was a wolf was amazing as well. My wolf sighs in thought. But an overwhelming exhaustion from the day takes over and I sleep.

Waking up at the first light comes as a shock. I've never gotten up this early. But I realize that my wolf had woken me.

He needs a run so I get dressed in just shorts and leave the house. Once I'm far enough in the woods I strip and shift.

The shift was agonizing but not like it was the day before. Once free my wolf ran the perimeter of the territory. We came across many other wolves and they were all smaller or the same size. Not a single wolf was larger than me.

Strange. Being Omega I should be the smallest of the pack. Even if I no longer had the Omega urge to tuck tail near every member, I was expected to show respect.

My wolf said other wise and demanded that they show respect to me. I was barely able to contain him from attacking those smaller wolves.

I ran for a few hours before my wolf finally tired. I walked till I was at my house.

Slipping through the dog door in the back, I went up to my room. The door was open but I shut it once I was in. I shifted and got dressed in a pair of jeans and a green t-shirt.

After getting dressed and ready for the day I head over to the main house.

~*Claire POV*~

Waking up was difficult. Dreams from the night filled my head. But as I cleared my head to wake up, they faded to black.

I got up and got dressed in a long red skirt, a red and black blouse, and black flip flops. After brushing all the knots out of my hair I head down stairs.

Right as I enter the living room I see Jay enter from the front door. My wolf howls at seeing him. I run up and hug him and he hugs me back. I feel him kiss my forehead before pulling away.

"Claire, my mom and sister, Lisa, want to meet you. I want to invite you to dinner tonight at my house. So will you come?"

I smile and hug him again, "Of course I'd love to meet your family. But I need a run and we have a few hours before dinner time."

He nodds and kisses the top of my head. "Ok why don't you grab a snack to tie you over till then while I go and shift."

"Ok and I'll meet you outside." He leaves with a nodd. I grab a small bag of chips and eat them while I find Jessie.

I found her in the office looking over some papers. "Jessie I need to shift. Can you let me out of my room after I shift so that I can leave my clothes here? I'll try that mind link Jason told me about to contact you when I get back."

She looked up and nodded. She followed me to my room and stood outside the door. I went in, stripped down and shifted. My wolf stretched and then I scratched at the door.

Jessie let me out and pointed at the dog door in the back door. I slip out and almost run to a wolf. He seems very familar. It takes a moment before my wolf practically laughs at me. 'It's Jay!' She laughs at me again.

He was much bigger then I had remembered from under the couch. I heard a strange voice enter my mind. I perk up my ears and look around. It was only me and Jay. The voice laughed for a moment.

Jay touched my neck with his nose, "This is the mind link. As a pack member you can talk to anyone like this if you or the other person is a wolf. Mates have a special one that can be used as humans too."

"Can you read my mind with this?" My wolf was shocked.

He made a noise that sounded like laughing. "No, I can only hear the thoughts you send to me."

I nodd and start walking toward the forest. Jay continued to talk to me. "I want to show you the perimeter." He takes the lead and begins to run. I keep up and realize that his wolf was much larger than many of the other wolves we pasted.

I didn't see any wolves smaller then Jay and he had begun to be confident in himself. Compared to when I first saw him I'd say he was completely different. The air around him screamed Alpha but he still had Omega looks. He was skin and bone with few muscles and many scars on his rear.

I was running next to him when a flash of white blindsided me. I realized that I had been attacked. A white wolf stood over me. His breath smelled of rotting meat and his teeth dripped spit on my muzzle.
