Her hands balled up into fists at her side. "It's still raining..." she trembled, "And on Valentines Day."
"Stop worrying about the rain," Gray answered her, "We should be focusing on destroying this guild."
"Juvia doesn't take orders from a stripper," she retorted.
Her remark hit him as knife to the stomach, "Look, I don't know what your problem is with me, but-"
She laughed bitterly, "You don't know? Fine," and she stormed off.
'What the hell?' he hurried after her.
"Quit stalking Juvia!" she snapped.
"I'm not stalking you! We're partners!"
"Well, Juvia says differently."
"GAH!" he was about ready to tear his hair out, "Would you just tell me what's wrong?"
She stopped suddenly, and whirled around to face him, "You want to know? Fine. You're arrogant. You strip in public. You're a control freak. You seem nice one minute, then the next you're trying to force Juvia to not fight. You-you're just-GAH!" she huffed, "Juvia just doesn't like you, okay?!"
That one hit him harder. "Why don't you like me?"
"Just... shut up!" she fumed, marching off.
"Why won't you speak to me?! JUVIA!"
"Oh, just go away, stripper..." she muttered. A part of her didn't really know why she hated his guts so much... but she just did.
"Would you quit calling me that? My name's Gray."
"Juvia knows, she just thinks 'stripper' is more suitable for you."
"GAH!" his hands flew up in defeat. 'I give up,' he thought, 'She's gone. She has truly lost herself. There's no coming back anymore-'
"Stupid..." Gray grumbled as he stared after her, "Stupid habit..."
"Hey," Lucy slid down next to him with Natsu by her side.
"Tsk..." he continued to stare after her.
"I um... heard your fight..." Lucy mumbled.
Natsu burst out laughing, "AHAHA! SHE CALLED YOU STRIPPER!!! AHAHAHAHAAAA!"
"QUIT IT!" Lucy slapped him across the face.
"Ow..."
"COULD YOU BE ANY LESS SENSITIVE?"
"S-sorry, Luce," he mumbled and turned away, pouting.
"Just..." she turned back to Gray, "Keep believing she'll remember, Gray. You know more than anyone that she's trying to remember... Just... don't give up on her."
"Yeah... I know..."
His eyes squeezed shut. 'I won't give up on you, Juvia... you're still in there... somewhere...'
