Chapter 14: Jerza to the Rescue!!! ...or not...

   Juvia coughed and sat up. "Where... Where is Juvia?"

   "Don't ask me," Juvia turned to see her beloved Gray rubbing a large bump on his head.

   "Gray-sam-Gray!" she squeaked in surprise.

   "Ugh," he fidgeted, "How did we get here?"

   "Juvia... doesn't know, but," Juvia frowned as the memory came flooding back to her. Flashes of Mira dragging her angrily in an empty building with Gray knocked out on the floor... Mira as Satan Soul... "Juvia thinks... Mira did this."

   "Seriously?" Gray's eyebrows rose in confusion, "Why?"

   "Why did you leave him there? I thought you loved him?" Mira asked angrily.

   "Juvia is sorry, but Lyon was there and there was no reason to stay!" Juvia shouted back as Mira dragged her out of her room at Fairy Hills.

   "Do you not love Gray anymore?"

   "Juvia will always love Gray-sama..." Juvia blushed. 'But do you really? He's never shown you any sign of affection,' she shook her head wildly at the thought, 'No stop! Juvia will always love Gray-sama!'

   Mira's eyes narrowed, "I think you and Gray need some one-on-one time together."

   "What?" Juvia struggled to get out of Mira's grip, "No, that really isn't necess-"

   Mira opened up a door to an abandoned building and dropped her inside, locking the door behind her.

   "-ary," Juvia finished before passing out.

   "Juvia thinks Mira's mad at Juvia for leaving you and Lyon at the town during the job yesterday," Juvia sighed.

   Gray rose to his feet and turned to stare at her, "Yeah, why did you leave?"

   Juvia blushed. She wasn't expecting that answer. The answer she was expecting was more along the lines of, 'Oh you left? I didn't notice.' "Um... well you and Lyon were fighting and Juvia finished the job so, Juvia just left!"

   Gray nodded, "Fair enough."

   Juvia blushed and turned away. A week ago, she would've given anything to have one-on-one time with Gray. Now, however, it just seemed awkward. "So... um... how do we get out?"

   Gray sighed and sat back down. "I guess we just wait for someone to find us."

   Mira pressed her ear up against the door.

   "Yeah, why did you leave?" she heard Gray ask through the door.

   "Um... well-"

   "Mira?" 

   Mira spun around to face the familiar voice, "Laxus? What are you doing here?"

   Laxus pressed his ear up against the door as well, "Seriously? You kidnapped them?"

   Mira blushed, "Yeah, well... They needed some serious bonding time..."

   Laxus nodded in agreement, much to her surprise, "He's never going to keep a girl like that if he doesn't do something quick."

   "What's that supposed to mean?" Mira whirled around to face him.
