Chapter Two

~Charlie's POV~

(1 year and a half later)

I sighed as I got out of bed, had a shower and got dressed into this: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=49698107. I applied a thin layer of makeup, as usual , and left my hair falling around my shoulders.

I was about to leave my room, when I noticed a picture on my bed-side table. It was of me and Niall, the day before he left to go compete in X Factor. It was a little over a year and a half ago.

He had made it through the auditions, but at bootcamp, they sent him and 4 other boys home. Before they left, they called them back and announced that they were putting them and five girls into two separate bands. They became One Direction and they made it through to the finals, where they came in third place. Simon Cowell signed them though, and now they have been touring. I have seen Niall once since the X Factor and I have never met the other 4 boys.

I let a tear escape my eye as I put the photo back down, and headed downstairs. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. It was from Niall.

Niall- Go outside your house! xx -N

I put my phone back in my pocket, and opened the front door. There, standing on my lawn, stood the cutest Irish boy in the world!

"Niall!" I shouted and ran up to him. I practically jumped on him, so I ended up on top of him on the ground.

"Well hello there," he, smiling.

I got off of him and helped him up, "How long have you been back?"

"Only 3 hours, I saw my family and came to see you," he replied.

"I missed you so much!" I said, hugging him.

"I miss you too, Charlie," he whispered, then pulled away and said, "I have something for you."

"No, you didn't have to get me anything."

"Oh, shut up and follow me," he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the park, where there was a picnic set up.

We sat down. "You're so sweet, Niall. What food?"

"Nandos," he said, pulling out food from the basket.

"Yes!! You know me too well," I said, taking some food from him,

"Well, you ARE pretty much the girls version of me."

"That's true," I said.

"And the other four boys will be here soon, so you can meet them."

I smiled, "Finally!"

"So, who's your favourite from 1D?"

"You of course!" I said, quite loud.

A car pulled up and four boys got out. Niall introduced me to them. Harry, Louis, Liam and Zayn .. all british and cute.

After the introductions, we sat down and ate. Louis always turned somehting into a joke.

"Do you like carrots, Charlotte?" Louis asked me.

I laughed, "Yes, yes I do!"

"Ok, I like you!" he said. I couldn't help but laugh at him.

~Niall's POV~

"Ok, I like you!" Louis said to Charlotte.

All I could think was, 'So do I. But more than that.' I must have zoned out a few seconds because everyone was waving their hands in front of me yelling, "NIALL!"

"Oh sorry," I said.

"Are you ok?" Charlie whispered in my ear.

"Fine," I said, fake smiling.

"So Charlotte," Liam started.

"We were wandering," Zayn added.

"If you wanted to come to Australia with us?" Harry finished.

Her face lit up, "Are you serious? A-australia?"

"Yeah!" Louis said in a childish voice.

"Of course I would!" She said.

I couldn't help but hug her, and she hugged me back. "Charlotte," I whispered.

"Yeah?" She whispered back.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too."

If only she knew what I meant when I said I loved her.
