Chapter Eight

~Charlie's POV~

We arrived at the apartment and we were about to walk inside the buliding when I heard a familiar voice.

"Charlotte?"

'oh no,' i thought.

I turned around to face my ex-boyfriend, Aedan.

"H-hi Aedan," I said, grabbing Niall's hand.

"It's good to see you." he said, stepping closer.

"Yeah, you too."

He pointed to me and Niall and said, "So, are.. are you two like..."

"Yes we are!" Niall snapped.

Aedan put his hands up in defense, "Sorry, dude I didn't mean to cause any trouble!"

"Well, you already have! You know what you did."

"Niall, it's alright. Calm down." I whispered.

He relaxed a little and said, "I'm sorry. Do you wanna come in with me, Charlie and the lads?"

"Sure," Aedan replied, following us upstairs.

We all went to Niall's apartment and sat and just... talked.

We were having a great time and so was I. I don't think I could ever be friends with Aedan the way I used to be, but he wasn't a bad guy. And he was nice. Most of the time. I was happy and having a great time until Aedan whispered in my ear, "Can I talk to you?"

There went the smile.

"I'll be right back," I told Niall and followed Aedan outside.

When we got out there he didn't hesitate to say, "I want you back, Charlotte."

I frowned, "No.. no you don't."

"Yes I do. I've missed you, and I'm sorry for anything I have ever done. I really do love you, Charlie."

I felt my face start to burn of anger, "Don't call me that! You don't love me! You've said that a million times before! You only want me now, because I'm taken! You only have ever wanted me when I have been in a relationship and I have dumped so many guys to be with you, only for to break my heart!" I started raising my voice and stepped closer, "I am with Niall now, Aedan. And I am not breaking Niall's heart, to be with someone who only wants me because someone else has me." Then I whispered, "I love Nia-" I was cut off by Aedan's lips crashing against mine.

And I didn't pull away.

Until of course, I realised what the hell I was doing!

"Wh-" I started, but was yet again cut off by the creaking of a door.

I turned around to see that Irish boy I was in love with. His beautiful blue eyes were full of anger, disappointment and tears.

"N-"

He slammed the door on me. I spun around and yelled at Aedan, "Look what you did! Just go away Aedan!"

"I will not go away. I am perfect for you. I will show you that I really love you, Charlotte. You'll see," and like that, he walked off.

I turned around again and started banging on the door, "Someone let me in! Please!"

Louis opened the door, "He said he doesn't want to see you"

I was bawling, "Please, Louis. Can I come in? I have to explain what happened!"

He moved aside. I walked in. Niall was sitting on the couch, crying with everyone comforting him. They all looked at me with hatred.

"N-niall, I-"

"How could you? How could you kiss him? I trusted you." Niall shouted.

"Niall, please listen to me. I didn't kiss Aedan, he kissed me, I promi-"

"I don't believe you for one second! Maybe you should just leave!" He stood up and went to walk into another room, but before he could I shouted, "I love you!" He stopped.

"I love you, Niall. I love you more than anything in this world. I know I haven't told you that yet, but I do. I really, really do. I swear on my life that Aedan kissed me, and if I have to die for you to believe me, then I will. I don't know what I would do without you and if you walk away, I will die. Please, Niall." I cried. "Please. I didn't kiss him. You're who I want to be with."

He turned around slowly, looked at me for one second, and ran over to me, smashing his lips against mine. I put my arms around his neck and felt his arms snake around my waist.

"I love you, Niall James Horan," I whispered when we pulled away.

"I love you, Charlotte Kaci Smith" he whisper back, before kissing me again, but this time he picked me up and kissed me. (kinda like this: http://tinyurl.com/6t6hgfl)
