Chapter Twelve

*3 months later*

Tomorrow was the day my audition in front of the judges and I was super excited. I told my mum, dad and brother that I audtitioned and that we made it through. They were super happy for us.

"What do you mean you're going back on tour?" I was pretty much bawling to Niall.

"I'm sorry. We don't choose, exactly." he said, hugging me.

"No, it's ok. I understand. It's alright, really."

"Now come on, we have to go to bed, you have the audition for the judges tomorrow. What time do you have to be there again?"

"5am," I told him.

"Then let's get to bed."

"Can you sleep with me in my bed?" I asked.

He nodded and we went to my room. I lay facing his bare chest, with his arm around me and his chin on the top of my head. He was warm, as usual.

"Goodnight. I love you," I whispered.

"I love you too. Night."

And I dozed off.

"Who are you and what are you singing?" Simon Cowell said, as Stacey and I walked on stage. They had four judges - Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and special guest judge, Demi Lovato, which I am sure Niall would be psyched over.

"We are Charlie & Stace," I said.

"and we will be singing Give Your Heart A Break by Demi Lovato," Stacey added.

"Oooh, I'm excited to hear this," Demi said, clapping her hands.

They played the music and Stacey started:

Somehow, we got a standing ovation. We were so surprised.

When the applause died down Demi said, "WOW! You girls are amazing! You did that song so well and this is coming from the person who sings that song!"

"Thank you," I said.

"That was unbelievable how great you sounded!" Cheryl said. "I'm absolutely speechless!"

"Thanks," Stacey said.

"I actually liked that," Simon said.

"Well, ladies," Louis said, "and Simon, we have to vote. I will start by saying it's a big yes from me!"

"I'm saying yes as well," Simon added.

"It's a yes from me," Cheryl said.

Demi stood up, "It is an absolute big, fat yes from me! And are you the girl dating Niall from One Direction?" she pointed to me.

I giggled, "Yep!"

"Awww, I've seen pictures of you together. You two are absolutely cute together."

"Thanks." I said.

"Ok, thank you girls," Simon said, and we walked off.

"We made it, we made it, we made it!" I screamed, hugging Niall, then Stacey joined in.

"Good job girls! I knew you could make it!"

And so we went home extremely happy.
