Sara's Decision

Chapter 51

Over the next couple of weeks everyone was getting used to their new teammate. She was getting used to filling Sara's role on the team while she was pregnant. The team had run up against Prometheus a few times over the last couple of weeks and now he really seemed to be taunting Oliver.

Oliver went out one night on his own because he didn't want the team there to see what he was going to do to this guy once he caught him. He ended up at Justin Clayborne's old building and was going to kill Prometheus when he remembered something that Sara had told him, and it looked like she was right. Prometheus had dressed up Detective Malone in his suit and was hoping that Oliver would kill him. The idea didn't work because Oliver was able to stop himself and the save Malone.

Prometheus was starting to get fed up with things not going his way because he had everything setup so well. He didn't know that Team Arrow had someone on the team that knew everything about him, so instead of Prometheus being ahead of Team Arrow it was actually the opposite.

"Barbara, I need you to find a picture of Chase dressed up as Prometheus so that we can take it to the police and that way we can attack him without making it look like we are turning against the DA." Oliver said.

"If there is a picture out there, I will find it." Barbara said.

"I know you will. Let me know when you find it. Ok, let's go out on patrol." Oliver said and everyone nodded.

"Dinah, you come with me tonight. The people are used to seeing me and the White Canary together. We need to make everything look as normal as possible." Oliver said.

"I can do that. So, what it the plan for tonight?" Dinah asked.

"As of right now, we are just going to keep an eye out for what is going on in the Glades. If Barbara finds something, then we can work on finding Prometheus." Oliver said.

"Sounds good to me." Dinah said.

The team had a busy night. Oliver and Dinah had stopped a bank robbery, a store robbery, and had also stopped a few drug deals. Thea and Roy had stopped a mugging, a rape, and they also stopped someone from hijacking a car. Laurel and Emiko had stopped a shooting, a mugging, and a few drug deals. As a whole, the night was a good night because they had taken a lot of troublemakers off the streets.

When they got back to the bunker, it turns out that Barbara had found the picture that the team needed so that they could go after Chase now. This would make it easier for them because now they can go after him whenever they wanted to instead of having to wait until he was dressed up in his Prometheus gear.

"Send the picture to the police and all of the news outlets in the city in the morning. Chase wanted to make this personal, now we will be able to do the same. We can go after as a civilian and finally take him down. This will make things a lot easier on us because the public will know why we are going after Chase now." Oliver said.

"Yeah, that is a good thing. So, we will go after him tomorrow then?" Thea asked.

"Yeah, we will wait for tomorrow. We had a busy night tonight. Let's get some rest and come back and take care of this tomorrow night." Oliver said and everyone nodded as they got changed out of their suits and then headed home.

Later at the apartment, Sara, Oliver and Laurel were still up watching the news when Sara asked, "So, how are things going with Dinah so far?"

"I think she is getting the hang of things. It can't be easy after being on the bad side of things for so long." Laurel said.

"I can agree with that. I think she is doing a good job, but in can see her struggling at times." Oliver said.

"Well, I am glad she is working out. We got her out of that lifestyle a lot sooner this time then she was in the past." Sara said.

"What happened the last time around?" Laurel asked.

"I think she was willing to change over to Team Arrow's side early on but when Oliver went to talk to her and see if she was willing to, Felicity got the other teammates to attack her, which ended up with them having to lock her up. Therefore, she didn't trust Oliver anymore because she thought he had ordered the attack. She went to work with Chase and helped him capture all of the team. After Chase was taken down, she started working with Cayden James and after James was killed, she worked with Ricardo Diaz. She was scared of Diaz and she finally got the guts to turn on him, but it didn't work out for her and dad went to save her and ended up dying in the process. Dad was the reason she turned in the old timeline." Sara said.

"So, she could have worked with us all along if it wasn't for Felicity?" Oliver asked.

"Yes, she was pissed off because of her boyfriend dying because of Prometheus that she tried to use Dinah to kill Chase, but she ended up joining him." Sara said.

"What a dumbass. I am glad you got rid of here Ollie." Laurel said.

"I agree, even in the short time that she worked with the team I could see that she had problems with her emotions getting the better of her. You can't have that in this type of job. If you do then you will always make poor choices." Oliver said.

"Well, I am going to bed. I will see you two in the morning." Laure said as she went to bed. Oliver and Sara were not far behind her. Tomorrow was going to be a good day because hopefully they would be taking down Chase and getting back to a normal life, because it wasn't like they didn't like living with everyone, but they really wanted their privacy back.
