Oliver and Sara were going to City Hall to meet up with Quentin so that they could go out for lunch. Quentin had won the mayor position and had been in office for about six months now.
"So, how is my granddaughter doing today?" Quentin asked.
"She is doing great. She is sleeping through most of the night and the doctor said that everything is great with her weight and everything." Sara said.
"That's great. So, when do you plan to get back to your night job?" Quentin asked.
"Probably not going to be to long now. I am just about back to good fighting shape." Sara said.
"What do you think Oliver?" Quentin asked.
"I know better than to go against her wishes, so if she says she is ready, then she is ready." Oliver said.
"Smart man. I just worry about both of you being out there. I don't want something to happen to both of you then she has no one." Quentin said.
"That's not going to happen dad. Erica has a lot of family that would take her in if something was to happen." Sara said.
"I know baby, but it is still not the same as having your parents." Quentin said.
"So, Quentin, how is everything going at City Hall?" Oliver asked.
"Everything is good. I have been as they say "taking out the trash" so to speak. All of the people who were on your list that were working at City Hall or the Police Department have been fired. I am working on the DA's office now. There will be no chance of a takeover like that happening in this timeline." Quentin said.
"That's good. Sara and I were just talking about that the other day. How we were going to have to start working on the people on the list again, but it looks like they are not in power anymore, so we are in better shape than we thought. The only problem is the city council. There isn't much you can do with them." Oliver said.
"Unfortunately, there is not much I can do about them. Although, I think there are only like one or two corrupt people there. It will be hard for them to do too much." Quentin said.
"That is true. Might still need to look into that pretty soon though." Sara said.
"Well, let's go and get that food. I need to be back here in a hour." Quentin said as they went to Big Belly Burger.
After they were done with their lunch, Oliver, Sara and Erica walked back to City Hall with Quentin and told him goodbye before heading to the park for a little while. When they got to the pond they just sat there and looked out at the water seeing how peaceful it was.
"I am going to go back to the bunker tonight and workout. It will give Erica a chance to get used to being around Barbara and Tommy." Sara said.
"If that is what you want to do, I am fine with that. Just don't get to far ahead of yourself and go out in the field to soon." Oliver said.
"You know I would never do that. I will let you test me before I go out in the field just to be sure." Sara said.
"That is a good idea. So, how far away do you think you are from being ready?" Oliver asked.
"I think I can be ready in a week or two. I have been getting rid of the extra weight I gained, now that is done, I need to get back into fighting shape and getting my endurance back." Sara said.
"Yeah, I can tell you are back to being in the same shape you were before getting pregnant. You look great." Oliver said.
"You, Oliver Queen, are just trying to get laid." Sara said while laughing at Oliver.
"Maybe. So, what do you want to do before going to the bunker tonight?" Oliver asked.
"Not that. I am feeling like just relaxing and then getting ready to do some training." Sara said.
"Sounds good. I could use some relaxation time before going out tonight as well." Oliver said.
They went back to their apartment and made sure that Erica was getting a nap so that she would be ready for tonight as well. They then went to set in the living room to watch some tv until it was time to go to the bunker.
Later the team was in the bunker and the elevator doors opened and Sara and Oliver walked out with Erica in her carrier.
"How is my niece doing tonight?" Laurel said as she walked up to where Erica was sitting.
"She is doing good. She is coming here tonight so that she can get used to being here." Sara said.
"That makes since. If she is going to be here, why not have her get used to it." Thea said as she came over as well.
"She is so cute. I will hate to see Oliver when it is time for her to date." Emiko said.
"Don't even go there. She is going to have to be thirty before she can date anyone." Oliver said.
"Hahaha. Yeah, just like you and Sara were when you both started dating." Tommy said.
"She is going to be better than the two of us. We are not exactly the people to look up to when it comes to that." Oliver said.
"I don't know what you are talking about Ollie. I never did anything wrong when I was younger." Sara said with a smile.
"Yeah, if you say so." Oliver said.
"Alright, I am going to be working out here tonight while the rest of you go out in the field." Sara said as she went to change into her workout clothes and the others went to change into their suits.
Once the rest of the team was gone Sara started her workout and Tommy came over to talk to her. "Are you sure you aren't ready to get out there now. You look great." Tommy said.
"I am just about there. I need to get my endurance back." Sara said.
"So, how are things going with the wedding planning?" Sara asked.
"Everything is going good. It will probably be sometime during the summer." Tommy said.
"Is it going to be big or small?" Sara asked.
"We are thinking something small. Just friends and family." Tommy said.
"I think that is the way to do it, but I know that some people don't think that way." Sara said.
"Yeah, so I will let you do your training, and I will go and help Barbara. I will also keep an eye on little one over there." Tommy said as he left Sara to get to her workout.
