It had been several months since Sara and Oliver had made the deal with the Monitor. So now that Sara had set things up for crisis the way that she had been planning to from the beginning, it was now time to get rid of the Ninth Circle's presence in Star City. She knew that now that Emiko was no longer with the group that she would not be the person in charge now. Dante couldn't be either because he was dead, so now she just needed to talk to Emiko to see who she thought was running the group now.

"Emiko, I have a question or two about the Ninth Circle, if you have the time to talk." Sara said.

"Sure. what would you like to know?" Emiko asked.

"Who would be in charge now that Dante is dead, and you are not with them anymore?" Sara asked.

"It would most likely be Beatrice or Virgil. But if I had to guess, I would say Beatrice." Emiko said.

"Do they have any code like the League of Assassins does when it comes to trial by combat, or is this just going to be us taking them on as they come at us?" Sara asked.

"They do have a trial by combat, the only problem is that neither of the leaders is trustworthy, so I don't know what will happen if they lose." Emiko said.

"Ok. Last question I have for now. Do you know how to get in touch with them so we can set something up so we can get this over with?" Sara asked.

"I might know a way. I will work on it and then we can finish this soon." Emiko said and Sara nodded as Sara went off to train to make sure she is ready to go out in the field tonight.

Emiko came back a little bit later and said, "I was able to get in touch with the Ninth Circle and I have set up a trial by combat and this will be what gets them out of town."

"Well, that's good. When will this fight take place?" Oliver asked.

"Tonight, at the dam. I think it is only fair that I fight because I am the one who really brought the group here." Emiko said.

"No. It is my job to do this. I should be the one who is in this fight." Sara said.

"Well, I told her that one of our team will be the fighter and Beatrice said that it had to be me or no one. So, there is really no choice in the matter." Emiko said.

"Are you sure about this. You think you are ready?" Oliver asked.

"I am ready Oliver. There was a reason why I was second in command when I quit. I was the second-best fighter. I will not lose this fight. I know all of Beatrice's moves. She telegraphs everything that she does." Emiko said.

"Ok. Just as long as you are sure. We will be there to support you though." Oliver said and Emiko nodded.

Emiko went to get some last-minute practice in so that she was ready to take Beatrice out. She was not going to leave anything to chance. After about thirty minutes she had the feeling that she was ready to go, so she went and get dressed in her suit and was now ready to head to the dam so that she could end the Ninth Circle's threat once and for all.

Emiko and the team showed up at the dam and saw that Beatrice had brought some support as well. Emiko was still sure that she could beat Beatrice in a fight, so she was not worried about this whole thing. She knew that it would go her way in the end.

Soon they were ready to fight, and they charged each other with their swords out. Beatrice had the early advantage because she was moving at very quick speeds that looked like Emiko was having a hard time keeping up with. Little did Beatrice know that Emiko was just playing her by luring her into a false sense of security before Emiko decided that it was time to show anyone around that she had been holding back. This really surprised Beatrice because Emiko seemed to be a lot better at fighting than she had been when she was last in the Ninth Circle.

Emiko had finally done enough damage that Beatrice was really starting to wear out. Finally, she was so tired that she barely able to hold her sword up to continue the fight. Emiko took one last swing of her sword, which cut Beatrice's hand off at the wrist. Now all Emiko had to do was kill Beatrice and she would free of the Ninth Circle. She couldn't bring herself to do it though, because it made her feel like she was no better than the Ninth Circle.

"I won't kill you Beatrice, but I will take your power and show your fighters how it feels to be heroes, because one I am done with your men, they will no longer follow you." Emiko said.

"Very good win there Emiko. So, it looks like you will be leading the Ninth Circle now? Does that mean that you have to leave us?" Oliver asked.

"No. This victory means that I can do whatever I need to make sure that my friends and family are safe, so I will be here, and the Ninth Circle will watch our backs. Thanks for your help in getting me ready for this fight though." Emiko said.

"It wasn't me who trained you. That was Sara. I am glad it helped you out though. Anyways, let's get out of here. Let's go see what we have to do next." Oliver said as they all headed back to the bunker.

Once the team arrived at the bunker, Sara looked a little disturbed. Oliver wanted to know what was going on with her, so he went to talk to her.

"What's going on Sara?" Oliver asked.

"I will tell you when we get home." Sara said and Oliver nodded.

It was time for all of them to get home anyways being that they had accomplished everything that they needed to for now. Once Oliver and Sara got home, they would talk about what comes next.
