Sara's Decision

Chapter 65

Sara and Oliver were transported to Hong Kong by Novu and were now looking for the doctor that they were sent there to get. While they were looking up the doctor, the two of the were attacked by the Triad. The Triad thugs were nothing for Oliver and Sara to take out on their own, but they ended up getting help from an old friend of Oliver's.

"What are you doing in Hong Kong Tatsu? I thought you were living at that temple now." Oliver said.

"I was, but I missed being in the action, so I decided to come here and be a vigilante like you are in your city." Tatsu said.

"How long have you been doing this?" Oliver asked.

"Just over a year now. So, what are you doing back in Hong Kong Oliver?" Tatsu asked.

"We are here looking for a doctor that can help us make a device that will help us with a coming crisis." Oliver said.

"Ok, I can help with that. Who are you looking for? I might know of this person." Tatsu said.

"His name is Dr. Wong. He is supposed to be at a lab located downtown." Sara said.

"I don't think we have been introduced yet. I am Tatsu."

"I am Sara. Oliver's wife."

"Oh, I have heard some about you. Oliver would talk about you when he lived with my family back when he was dead for those five years." Tatsu said.

"I hope he said good things about me." Sara said.

"He did. Most of all he was just sad because he thought you were dead though, and he was always putting that blame on himself." Tatsu said.

"He has a way of doing that. So, let's go get this doctor so that was can get out of here." Sara said and the two other vigilantes nodded and followed Sara out into the streets.

Soon they were at the lab that Dr. Wong worked at and they could see that they were not the only people looking for Dr. Wong. It looked like the Triad were after him as well. Oliver and Tatsu went after the Triad and were taking them out easily. This allowed Sara to go into the lab and get the doctor and talk him into leaving with them. Once they were outside, they got on the motorcycles and rode back to the hotel room that they had rented for the night. When they got inside, Oliver called for Novu and he appeared in the room with them.

"We have the man that you wanted us to get. Can you take us back home now?" Oliver asked.

"Yes, you have done well, and it looks like you picked up a new ally as well. I will transport you all back to Star City now." Novu said.

The group was transported back to the bunker. Novu then took Dr. Wong with him and hid him away until it was time for him to work on the device.

Sara noticed that some of the team was gone and asked, "Where are Laurel and Thea?"

"They went to Earth 3 to see about recruiting this Stargirl and her team." Tommy said.

"Ok, that sounds good. I am going home to rest for a while. Let me know when they are back." Sara said as she went to leave the bunker with Oliver following her.

On Earth 3, Laurel and Thea went to where they were told that Stargirl would be. It looked like an auto garage that they were going into. When they walked inside, they saw a man who was probably in his lower 40s working on a car. When the man heard the door open, he got out from under the car and went to meet Laurel and Thea.

"Can I help you with something?" the man asked.

"Yes, we are looking for a Courtney Whitmore. We were told that we could find her here." Laurel said.

"She is not hear right now. She is at school. She should be here in thirty minutes with her friends if you want to wait." The man said.

"We will do that. Thank you very much sir." Thea said.

"It's Pat. I am Courtney's stepfather." Pat said.

"I am Laurel and this is Thea." Laurel said.

"Can I ask what it is that you need Courtney for?" Pat asked.

"I don't know how much you know about her so I don't know if I should say." Laurel said.

"Oh, you mean the Stargirl thing. I know all about it. I am part of the team." Pat said.

"Ok, we are heroes from another Earth. We have been sent to other earths to gather heroes for a crisis that is coming. It will wipe out all earths if we don't stop it." Thea said.

"That sounds a bit far-fetched. Can you prove that you are heroes from another earth?" Pat asked.

"I have a way, but I will tear up something if I do it in here." Laurel said.

"I have a training room in the next room over." Pat said and Thea and Laurel followed him.

When they got into the other room Laurel said, "I am known as the Black Canary and I have what is known as a Canary Cry. It is very loud and can cause a lot of damage."

Laurel looked at the wall on the opposite side of the room and screamed and that caused some stuff on the other side of the room to fall over. Pat now believed the two of them.

"What about you?" Pat asked looking at Thea.

"I am known as Blue Arrow. I am an archer just like the Green Arrow is." Thea said.

"Ok, so what do we need to do for you?" Pat asked.

"Right now, we are just telling all the heroes on different worlds that we will need their help when the time comes. Right now, we will leave you here, but we will come for you when you are needed." Laurel said.

"Ok, we will be ready for you. Would you like to talk to Courtney? She is the leader after all." Pat said.

"That won't be necessary. We think that you will be able to get through to the team what is going on and that your team will be needed at some point." Thea said.

"Oh, I know she will want to help. She even started being Stargirl without my permission, so I don't think getting her and her friends help will be a problem." Pat said.

"Here. Take this. It is an extrapolator. It will open a portal to our earth. You shouldn't need it, but we want to give it to you to be safe. Some of our friends went to another earth and the earth was wiped out of existence right as they were leaving. If you see a red cloud forming, get you team together and use the extrapolator to get to our earth." Laurel said.

"I will do that. Thanks for the heads up. We will see you whenever you come back for us and hopefully not before then." Pat said.

"Let's hope so. We will see you later." Thea said as she opened a breach and she and Laurel went back to Earth 1.
