Sara's Decision

Chapter 59

A week later Oliver and Sara went to Central City to visit William and Samantha. William hadn't had the chance to meet his new sister yet. When Oliver and Sara pulled the car up in front of the house, William saw them and ran to the car to meet them.

"How are you doing buddy? Are you ready to meet your sister?" Oliver asked.

"Yeah, what is her name?" William asked.

"Her name is Erica, and she has been waiting to meet you." Sara said.

"She is so small. It is weird to think that one day she will be as big as I am." William said.

"She will one day. So, what have you been doing lately?" Oliver asked.

"Well, I have been playing baseball and mom got me a computer, so I am getting pretty good at using that." William said.

"That's good. Let's go in the house and see your mom." Oliver said and William took off running to the house.

Once everyone was inside, Samantha came out of the kitchen and saw that Oliver and Sara had arrived. She walked up to them and gave them both a hug before saying, "Sara, you look great. I wish I looked that good that soon after having William."

"Thanks, I was always into my workouts anyways, so once I had Erica and was able to work out, I started." Sara said.

"So, how is the little on? She looks like she is a good baby." Samantha said.

"She is. We just have to deal with the normal stuff, like waking up in the middle of the night and changing diapers and feeding her and stuff like that." Sara said.

"So, are you staying in town for the night or are you headed home soon?" Samantha asked.

"We are staying in a hotel in the city. I need to check on something at STAR Labs for QC, so we will be staying near there." Oliver said.

"You know people at STAR Labs? Is it true that is where the Flash works? William asked.

"I have heard rumors that he works somewhere near there. I don't know it is there though." Sara said.

"I would like to meet the Flash and Green Arrow one day. They are so cool." William said.

"What about any of their other teammates?" Sara asked.

"Well, I do like the Canary Sisters as well, and Supergirl is pretty cool." William said.

"What about Vibe and Frost?" Oliver asked.

"They are cool as well. I like Supergirl and Superman too." William said.

"Well, who knows, you might get to meet them one day." Oliver said as he smiled at his son.

"Don't get his hopes up Oliver. I don't need him getting upset when it doesn't happen." Samantha said.

"You're right. I am sorry. I shouldn't have done that." Oliver said as he looked at Sara with a smile.

"Well, we need to get to STAR Labs. After that we are free. Would you like to meet us at Big Belly Burger for dinner?" Sara asked.

"I think that is a great idea. Would 6:00 be ok?" Samantha said.

"That would be perfect. We will see you then." Oliver said as he and Sara left the house to go to see their friends at STAR Labs.

When Oliver and Sara entered STAR Labs and made their way to the cortex, they could here Cisco talking about one of his new projects. They just stood there listening to what he was saying and waiting for the right moment to reveal themselves. Once Cisco stopped talking, Oliver cleared his throat and announced their presence.

Barry looked up at his friends and walked over to where they were standing so he could see the baby and Caitlin followed. Sara put the car seat down on the table and took Erica out and handed her to Caitlin. "Wow, she is so beautiful. She has your eyes Sara." Caitlin said.

"Yeah, that is what everyone says." Sara said.

"So, is there something we can do for you today, or is this just a friendly visit?" Cisco asked.

"Just a visit. We came to visit my son and we figured we would stop by and see how things were going." Oliver said.

"You are welcome here anytime. If you want, I might can add some upgrades to your suits if you want." Cisco said.

"No, I think we are good for now. So, when are you and Barry going to have a baby?" Sara asked Caitlin.

"I don't know. Everything is just so busy right now. I know we will get there one day." Caitlin said.

"Yeah, you will. Just don't wait for to long." Sara said.

"Barry, I was wondering if you could help us out. See, my son is a big fan of the Flash, Green Arrow, and the Canary Sisters. Being the Sara, you and I are here, I was wondering if you would mind going to see my son tonight." Oliver said

"I would be happy to. You can leave Erica here with Caitlin and Cisco while we go. You two go and change and then we will head out." Barry said as he activated his ring and his suit appeared while he waited on the others.

"Do either of you get motion sickness?" Barry asked and they shook their heads saying that they didn't.

Berry picked them both up and sped to Samantha and William's house. Once their Barry sat them down and Oliver went to knock on the door. When the door opened, they all saw the surprised look on William's face. They heard Samantha from the next room.

"Who is it William?" Samantha asked.

"Mom, you are not going to believe this. You need to come here." William said and Samantha came to the door with a surprised look on her face as well.

"William, why don't you go and play with your toys for a minutes while I talk to our guests." Samantha said and William nodded and left.

"What the hell are you doing Oliver? You don't need to get William's hopes up by playing dress up." Samantha said.

"I just wanted to see him happy, but how did you know it was me?" Oliver asked.

"The face that we talked about this not to long ago was a pretty big giveaway, but I do have to ask, where did you get the costumes so fast?" Samantha asked.

Oliver looked at Sara and she nodded letting Oliver know that she was ok with what he was about to do. They wouldn't reveal Barry, but Oliver and Sara were pretty much busted anyways.

"I had the suit in the car and so did Sara." Oliver said.

"Why would you have them? Are you going to a Halloween party or something next week?" Samantha asked.

"Samantha, these are not costumes. They are real. I am the Green Arrow and Sara is the White Canary. We just happen to know who the Flash is, and he agreed to come with us." Oliver said.

"Yeah right, I don't believe that Oliver." Samantha said.

Oliver took and Arrow out and gave it to Samantha who thought they were fake arrows until she rubbed her hand against the sharp edge and cut her finger. Barry then took off running and with the sharp arrows and the Flash running around at superspeed she finally let it in that her son's father was the Green Arrow.

"Wow, didn't see that coming." Samantha said.

"I know it is a lot to take in, but we just wanted to make William's day and let him meet some of his favorite superheroes." Sara said.

"Well, it was nice of you to do this. I will get him back out here and let him talk to y'all." Samantha said.

Once William was back outside, they all talked for a little while and then it was time for the heroes to leave. They would not let William know who they were for right now. Maybe when he got older. The heroes then left Samantha and William's house to head back to STAR Labs.
