{ Chapter 16 }

Naruto showed Shikamaru around the house. The kitchen, the pool, the bathroom, the bedroom he was sleeping in, and his favorite spot.

"This is your favorite spot / thing about the house?" Shikamaru asked, a bit surprised.

"Yes!" Naruto answered with a big grin.

"Never expected you to.. like a... door... so much..."

"It's the perfect door Shikamaru! Look at it's golden rims, and the clear white color! It's the only pure thing in this house! And I mean that!" Shikamaru only sighed.

"And now, to show you my other favorite spot!"

Yay, I'm gonna get to see a toilet next..!

Naruto walked through the house, finally going through the window doors to get to the garden.

"Here we are!" Naruto grinned at the beautiful flowers he admired so much. Shikamaru was surprised, but not in the same way he had been with the door. He thought Naruto would like a hole with spikes on the bottom for Sasuke to be thrown in instead of a garden. But he understood why. The garden gave off a pleasurable vibe. Shikamaru walked around with Naruto, until he finally spoke up.

"I'm tired Naruto," he said plainly.

"Oh, you're always tired!"

"And?"

"Agh, fine, let's rest on this patch of grass," Naruto gave in. They both rested on the soft green "dirt hair" (dirt hair). They watched clouds and talked about stuff. Shikamaru was still single (duh) thanks to him being too lazy to put any effort into a relationship. His ex, Temari, had just expected way too much for him to do. Naruto was "suffering" here with Sasuke. You know, typical young adult stuff.

"So Narutoo.."

"What is it Shika?"

"You like Sasuke or what?" Naruto almost choked on air, and started blushing a bit.

"What the FUCK makes you think that?!"

"Aww, is someone flustered because they know it's true?" Shikamaru teased. Naruto blushed more.

"YOU BITCH! YOU CAN'T PROVE THAT! YOU GOT NO PROOF!" Naruto yelled furiously.

"Actually, I do. I watched you guys at the club. It looked like flirting to me." Shikamaru was looking at the setting sun. It was Daylight Savings time so it was around 5 in the evening.

"BRO- F you you stupid bitch..." Naruto grumbled.

"Anyways, I gotta go to the restroom. Be right back."

"Alright."

Shikamaru wasn't really going to the restroom. He needed to get to find out where Sasuke's office was, so that when his friend came over he could check it out. So yes, that meant he was listening to his call with a dude named "Neji".

Shikamaru entered the house quietly, but when he reached the living room, he froze. Not because a particular Uchiha was standing in front of him with his back to him, but because a tall, pale, and handsome male was also there.

WHO IS THAT?!?!

Shikamaru had never felt such a strong emotion for someone.

It's lust isn't it? I just broke up with the girl I've wanted to date for such a long time, that I've got all my lust bottled in. Damn it! I can't do anything to him though-

Neji felt someone staring at him while he talked to Sasuke, so he looked in the direction where he sensed it. He saw the most 'shining' (shine bright like a diamond) man ever. He was so divine, Neji just couldn't describe it. It was love at first sight. Neji couldn't wait, so he moved away from the Uchiha and started walking towards Shikamaru.

Fuck! Is he walking towards me- yes he is..

Shikamaru was panicking on the inside. Soon Neji was right in front of him.

"Good evening."
