I was quietly preparing breakfast while listening to the news. I placed the last dish on the table and went upstair to wake Felix up.
"Babe... it's time to get up, you have an interview in an hour so you need to get ready." I said before kissing him on the forehead.
"I'm coming" He said, dragging me under the covers with him.
He kissed my neck gently while hugging me tightly.
"What did my wife prepare for today's breakfast?" He asked, his head still buried in my neck.
"Bacon, eggs and some pancakes"
"Thanks, it's been a while since you last cooked a western breakfast."
"I know, but since you have a big day today, I wanted to make you happy" I said with a smile.
"Thank you, I love you" He said before kissing me.
"Love you too. Now go get ready or else you'll be late" I said getting out of the bed.
"Okay" He said lazily getting up.
I smiled before getting to the next room. I opened the door and went directly on the bed.
"Luna, time to get up, breakfast's ready." I said, caressing my daughter's cheek.
"Mom, I'm not a baby anymore you know, I can wake up by myself" She said sleepily with a chuckle.
"I know, but I love to wake my lovely daughter up"
She rolled her eyes and gave me a hug. I smiled and hugged her back.
"Get ready and come eat breakfast before it's cold" I said before getting up and going downstairs again.
I turned off the TV and washed the dished I used to prepare breakfast.
A few minutes later, Felix gave me a kiss on the cheek before sitting at the table. Not long after, it was Luna's turn to sit in front of her breakfast. Since I can't eat human food I grabbed some blood and poured it in a glass before sitting with them at the table.
"Mom, are you okay if the boy I talked about last time comes here after school? We have an assignment to do together." She asked while eating a piece of her pancake.
"Boy? What boy?!" Felix said in panic.
"Calm down babe our daughter is old enough to have boys over, stop being overprotective" I said chuckling at his behavior.
"My baby... she's a woman now and I'm not the only boy in her life... that's so sad" He said fake crying.
Luna and I both laughed at Felix, who joined us not long after.

"Have a nice day at school Luna! You too love" Felix said, giving me a kiss before leaving the house.
"See you later mom, have a nice day! Oh and no need to come pick me, Yejun's dad will drop us both home after school."
"Okay, have a nice day" I said waving her goodbye.
