Crimson Eyes | Felix (Completed)

I sucked some blood which was not that bad and felt my neck healing little by little. After some seconds Felix told me it was enough to heal me completely and he just washed his wrist in the bathroom connected to my bedroom. When he came back his wrist was completely healed as if nothing happened.

"Feeling better?" He asked me.

"Yeah, the pain is gone" I said smiling.

"Good"

I get up from my bed and walked to him.

"Thank you for being honest with me" 

"You're welcome, it's normal"

"By the way... your fangs are cute, you look like a cat" I said looking at him.

"Thanks" He said while looking away.

"Can I see them again?"

He just opened his mouth and I saw them growing. Without thinking, I touched them with my finger. I remove my finger from his mouth and looked at him with a smile. Suddenly he closed his mouth and reduced the space between us, kissing me. I was surprised at first but kissed him back. It was a gentle kiss. I felt butterflies in my stomach while kissing him, it was a really nice sensation. He pulled away and looked at me with his red eyes.

"I'm sorry, I must stop here or who knows what I might do... I'm still learning how to control myself and hormones don't want to work with me..." He said his eye switching back to their normal color.

"Don't worry, I understand" I said smiling at him.

"Thank you for understanding" He said smiling back.

"Have you two fini...Oh sorry, am I interrupting something?" Chan asked.

We were still hugging each others from the kiss so it was a little bit awkward. We pulled away as fast as we could and looked at him.

"N-not at all we just finished the blood thing" I said a little embarrassed.

"Okay. I just wanted to say that I have to go, I need to get some things done today so yeah"

"Oh okay" I said a little bit sad that he's leaving already.

I consider Chan as the older brother I've never had. Hyunjin doesn't count since he's my best friend and act more like it than an older brother. I consider him as my best friend or a brother the same age as me even if sometimes he acts like a 5-year-old child to be honest.

"Call me if you need anything or if you have questions okay?" He said smiling at me.

"Will do for sure!" I said smiling back.

He waved us goodbye and walked to the door.

"I might go too, the last 12 hours must have been rough on you, you need to rest." Felix said.

"Yeah, I'm a bit exhausted and my head hurts with all the informations I learned today."

"See you tomorrow at school?" He asked me.

"Of course" I said smiling.

He kissed me on the cheek one last time and left. I walk to where Hyunjin was, because yes, he's still there the poor guy. He was sleeping on the couch. He must have been awake all night yesterday worried about me for sure. I decided to wake him up since he was in a really bad position to sleep.

"Hyunjin wake up" I shook him gently.

"I'm awake!" He yelled, getting up really fast.

I laughed at him seeing his face.

"What's funny?"

"Don't you see that your glasses are not placed right on your face" I said still laughing and pointing at his glasses.

He replaced them and looked at me.

"Better?"

I stop laughing and nodded. I sat on the couch and invited him to join me. He sat beside me a little bit on the side to face me.

"Soooo... you're a vampire..." I said still not realizing that the person who I nearly live with for as long as I can remember was in fact something I didn't even thought existed in real life

"Yeah..." He said, not looking at me. "I'll understand if you want to think about it for some time. I'll let you alone for some days or week or months whatever you want and.."

"Hyunjin, stop overthinking, I don't need time to think it's okay. It's just really surprising and I'm guilty that I didn't know all you've been through for me. With all the hugs, it must have been really hard to control yourself around me."

"I can't say it's false, I really suffered to protect you and to control myself around you and... by the way...I really need to tell you something I did that I'm not proud of..."

"What is it?"

"Please don't be mad at me okay?"

"What have you done?" I asked impatient.

"It's just... You remember the night that guy attacked you on the streets?"

"Yeah...."

"Your neck was all bruised and you had a little wound too"

"And?"

"And the smell of your blood was overpowering... and that night you just happen to hug me in your sleep with you neck pretty close to me so.... I kind of lost control a little... I'm sorry"

"What?! You drank my blood? How did I not remember? Did you erase my memories?" I said really surprised.

"No! I've never used my powers on you. It's so hard to explain... I just ...kind of licked your wound for a moment but I didn't bite you I swear, and it was when you were sleeping, I'm so sorry..." He said hiding his head behind his hands.

I didn't say anything because I was a little bit disappointed by him. Not that much but I was thinking that he, out of anyone, would have controlled himself.

"Are you mad?" He asked shyly.

"No, I'm just... disappointed..."

"I know... I should've been careful, I'm sorry...."

"It's okay, I mean... Felix did worse than you and I forgave him so it's the same for you. I'll let it pass for this time" I said slightly smiling.

"Thank you so much" He said in a whisper while giving me a hug.

I hugged him back, caressing his back to reassure him.

"I have a question... Why are you eating human food since you're a vampire? Don't you need to drink blood to feed yourself?"

"We have to drink blood to survive but we can eat human food too, it's just that it's not satisfying our hunger. We can just enjoy the taste of it. By we I mean mixed blood vampires. Pure bloods on the other hand can't eat human food, they just vomit it after they ate it, it taste like trash for them as I heard. Too bad for them. A chance they can at least drink all the beverages they want without vomiting, life would be so sad drinking only blood"

"Oh. I tough you were faking to like food because of me. You really like kimchi fried rice then?"

"Of course I love it! It's my fav!"
