We got back to the cafeteria and sat at the table where Yugyeom and Bambam were. I sat beside Bambam and Hyunjin in front of me. No one talked, awkward silence. What's happening?
"So... You and Bambam? How did it happen?" Yugyeom tried to break the silence.
I was about to answer when Bambam left the table without uttering a word. I looked at Yugyeom questioningly and he shrugged his shoulders signaling me that he doesn't know himself. I didn't think twice and ran after him.
"Bam please wait!" I yelled trying to stop him.
But he didn't stop. The hallway was empty, we were the only ones. I called him again and this time he stopped. I jogged to his level and faced him.
"What happened? Are you sick?" I said placing my hand on his forehead.
He pushed my hand away gently without even looking at me. I frowned in confusion.
"Bam?" I said with a sad tone.
"Don't feel obligated to care that much for me if you don't like me the same way as I do. I don't want your pity" He said with sadness.
"What?" I said still confused
"I heard your conversation earlier. If you don't like me then stop playing with me, I'm not your toy or some spare wheel you use to forget about your feelings for Felix." He said not looking at me.
His words pierce through my soul breaking every piece of it.
"But..."
"Don't try to find excuses. I already heard enough and it's better if we stop now before it hurts me more"
At this point I was ugly crying. I didn't even get the chance to explain to him. I couldn't look at him, nor say anything. Everything I would say would sound like an excuse to him right now. It was my fault. Why did I fell in love with the wrong person. Bambam deserve so much more than what I can give him. He deserves so much better than me. Maybe it is better that way...
"I know I promised not to leave you but for now I can't be around you. Thank you for the little amount of time you let me be more than just a friend. Too bad these feelings were one-sided." He finished in a whisper.
With that he walked out of the school, leaving me alone in the hallway. I collapsed on my knees, crying. It is the end. He's gone...
I found the courage to get up and went to the rooftop to calm myself down. My phone buzzed every 2 seconds but I didn't want to check who it was. I knew it wasn't Bambam so why caring to look.
I lay on the bench putting my arms over my eyes to cry even more. Some minutes later I heard the door of the rooftop open but didn't bother to check who it was. I don't even care anymore.
??? POV
As soon as I heard Yuna was missing, I tried to find her in every corner of this school, calling her on her phone a hundred times, over and over again but she didn't pick up. She was nowhere to be found. We searched in every class, every bathroom, every changing rooms, and other random room that existed in this school. Suddenly I had an idea and ran to the rooftop, the only place we didn't search. I opened the door, scanning around, and there she was, laying on a bench her arms over her head. I ran to her and kneeled in front of her pulling her arms away from her face. She was crying. She looked at me with questioning eyes and sat up.
"What are you doing here Felix?" She said with an annoyed tone.
"I.... was looking for you..." I had the courage to say.
"Why do you even care?" She said not even looking at me.
"Because..." I couldn't answer.
