Chapter 10: Plan

I start running out of the cave. It doesn't seem like he's following or even watching me. That's good! There's no way, I'd just run away when I know that [Y/N] going to held captive here for the rest of here life! I run as far away from that cave where Kosuke-Kun is and try to warn [Y/N] and Hanako-Kun! We will leave this place together!! There's one thing that's bothering me though..

what did he mean by we promised...?

Hanako-Kun's POV
Me and [Y/N] are now casualy walking and talking about all kinds of things. A lot has happened between us and [Y/N] has become another friend to me. I want to hang out with her more when we get out of here. I suppose that what I'm feeling for her is similar to how I feel about Yashiro. "Hey, Hanako-Kun?" I hum in response. "When we get out of here, how about we hang out sometime?", she asks me. I was thinking the exact same! "Of cour-", but then [Y/N] suddenly cuts me off. "That's Yashiro..!"

In surprise I turn to the direction she was looking. "Yashiro!", I myself yell. Yashiro was running to us and it lookedlike she was in a panic. "Guys! Hanako-Kun! [Y/N]! Thank...huff..goodness..your safe..." "Are you alright, Yashiro? I get that your were happy to see me, but there was no need to rush over here", I joke. But Yashiro really is out of breath. "Guys! It's terrible!!", she suddenly yells after catching her breath. "C-Calm down, Yashiro..Why don't you sit down for a second?", [Y/N] tries to calm her down.

"There's no time for that!! Listen!" Something big must've happened for Yashiro to be like this. "K-Kosuke-Kun..." "Oh, now that you mention it, I don't see him around. Where is he?", I ask. "He's...dead.." Wait, what?? "Did he die in this world?!", [Y/N] panics. "N-No..that's not it.." Huh? "That doesn't make any sense! How can he be dead, if he didn't die?", [Y/N] asks confused. He couldn't be... I don't think it's true... Me theory couldn't have been right.. "He died a long time already! He was already dead when we met him!", Yashiro says loudly and her face looks dreadful.

"What...?", [Y/N] asks in disbelief. I was hoping that I was wrong.. but.. "It seems my guess was right. Though I was hoping it was not." Both [Y/N] and Yashiro are looking at me confused. "What do you mean? What are you talking about?" "Well, you see.. he already seemed pretty suspicious to me when we first saw him. Especially how he somehow gave off an aura that seem just like that of this place." "No way...was he really already dead from the start..? But wouldn't that make him a ghost..?", [Y/N] asks while shaking a little bit. Is she scared of ghosts or something?

[Y/N]'s POV
Kosuke-Kun was a ghost from the start..? A dead person..? That..that can't be.. "Anyway, I'm sure you didn't run her in such a panic just because you were scared of a ghost, right?", Hanako-Kun says. What does he mean? "T-That's right.. There's something really important I have to tell you guys!" There's even more? I'm already shocked of the thought that he was dead, but there's more??

"Kosuke-Kun wants to keep [Y/N] in her forever!" What?? Why?- "What?! Why all of the sudden?? What happened??!" I surprised and shocked too about that fact, but why is Hanako-Kun the one getting anxious the most out of all of us? "C-Calm down, Hanako-Kun.." "I can't stay calm after hearing this! Why does he want [Y/N] to stay here??" I really wonder about this too.. "I don't know why! But we can't let that happen, right??", Yashiro asks. "Exactly!" As Hanako-Kun yelled his answer my heart suddenly skipped a beat. Wait..what? What's wrong with me? Why do I keep on feeling this weird when it's about him?

"So, now what do we do?", I ask after all of us calmed down. "We'll have to get out of here before Kosuke finds us.", Hanako-Kun says serious. "And how? Does anyone know the exit?" "Oh! I do!", Yashiro beams while raising her as if she was answering a teacher in class. How did she find the exit i wonder.. "You see, Kosuke-Kun said that I had to leave and that he would sent you, Hanako-kun, out later too." "How naive that is..", Hanako-Kun comments. That is true though.. Isn't that a bit too trusting? Could this be..a trap?

"He said to follow some kind of path until I reached the exit, I think.", Yashiro said. "Yashiro..do you think that this might be..", I try to ask. "A trap?", Hanako-Kun finishes. "You think so too?", I ask. "Huh? A trap?...I haven't thought of that possibility yet..", Yashiro says. "It could really be a trap, so what do we do?", she asks. This is quite a dilemma we got ourselves into.. On the one hand, Kosuke-Kun could be a dead end where he's already waiting for us there to make sure that Hanako-Kun and Yashiro will leave this world and I won't escape.. On the other hand, that is the only way out we know of...

"How about we just check it out?", Hanako-Kun suggests. "What?? Wouldn't we just directly walk into his trap, it it really was one??", Yashiro says. "From afar could already be enough to be able to tell if it was the exit. If it really is, then we'll at least know where we have to go!" That does make sense.. we don't really have any better plans either.. "I guess, Hanako-Kun is right. He'll eventually find us, if we just sit around here, so let's go check it out right away!", I said. Now that we made our plan...

"We'll definitely get out of here!"

My school started, so I suddenly got busy!

That's right, my quarantine is over! Well, for now.
