Chapter 5: Accusations

I then noticed stomps, sounds as if two blades crossed and those sounds were followed by a scream... "Hanako-kun..wasn't that..."

[Y/N]'s POV
,,Yes...it was! That was Yashiro screaming!", said Hanako-Kun and ran there without even sparing me a glance. I followed after him, since I was worried about Nene-Chan. That's when I saw it. The huge frog monster again! Now that I think about it, that thing looks like it does belong to this place. It had Nene-Chan in his tongue tied and swings her around like some toy. Hanako-Kun was going to get her, but his knife weapon doesn't even scratch the frog monster. Almost like someone trying to fight a cloud or a shadow.

I want to help! The first time in my life I made a true, genuine and nice friend! I will not lose her! But how can I help? I quickly then look at my ring. Don't let me down now..! I swung my hand forward and the sword really did appear! I'm scared of this thing, but I still will fight it! I ran toward it, closed my eyes and swung the sword at it. I kept my eyes closed, thinking that I would die without being able to kill it, but I then immediately opened my eyes, when I heard Nene-Chan scream. The monster disappeared, so Nene-Chan, who was tangled in the air, fell down quickly. "Nene-Chan!!!", I yelled. I was too far away, yet I still ran to try and catch her. Of course I didn't make it, but Hanako-Kun luckily caught her.

I let out a sigh of relief and a few tears fell from my cheek. Thank goodness, she's safe...! Hanako-kun flew towards me with Nene-Chan in his arms. "I have to admit, you did well...thanks..", Hanako-Kun said without looking me in the eye. Is he embarrassed? Nene-Chan then jumped out of Hanako-Kun's Arms and hugged me right after that. "Thank you so much, [Y/N]-Chan!!!", she said, while crying. My crying got stronger when I heard her crying. I slowly hug her back as I cried in her arms.

After a while, we stopped crying. That's when Hanako-Kun told us something. "How are we going to get out of here now?", he asked. "Eeeeeh? If you don't know how to get out of here, how'd you even get here???", Yashiro freaked out. "Well, [Y/N]'s eyes glowed and then somehow got us here.", he replied. "Whaaaaa? You can do something like that, [Y/N]??", Nene-Chan then asked as she turned to face me.

"Now wait just a second! I don't know what Hanako-Kun or you think I am or can, but I don't know this place, I don't know how we got here and most of all, I don't know how to get out of here!" "Oh...is that so.. Sorry for jumping to conclusions then..", Nene-Chan apologized. "Oh really? How do you explain the ring then? It definitely belongs to this place, judging by how it looks.", Hanako-Kun angered said. "Well, I don't know, why and how it got there! I don't remember even putting it on! And why are you so angry at me right now?!" "You bring me to this mysterious world that I didn't even know of, kill a monster that I couldn't kill with your ring and pretend to don't know anything! How could I not get angry??"

"For the last time! I. don't know. anything. about this.", his accusations start to make me mad too. How can he just point a finger at me, before he can even show any evidence that I could know anything! "Hanako-Kun..[Y/N]..please calm down.." "Stay out of this, Yashiro. This is something I And this mouth-shutting girl have to discuss." "Hey! That's just rude! I bet you didn't get angry, because I 'apparently didn't say anything about this place', but because you think that, since I'm somehow connected to this place, I am somehow at fault for Yashiro getting kidnapped and maybe almost killed by that frog thing!"

"[Y/N]!", Nene-Chan yelled. "That's not nice! I know that you and Hanako-Kun don't get along well, but you can't accuse him of thinking of you like that!" I heard her, but I still glared at him without looking at her. He fell silent, so I guess I was right. But I still need to confirm it. "What's the matter? Cats got your tongue? Am I right or am I wrong?", I provoked him. "[Y/N]! Didn't you hear what I just said?? Hanako-Kun would never-" "..You're right.", Hanako-Kun cut in. I knew it. "H-Hanako-Kun...that's not true, is it..? You didn't actually think, [Y/N] wanted to kill me...did you..?"

He fell silent again. I would hate to see their friendship get destroyed, since Nene-Chan seemed to be really fond of him, so I tried to step in, but then something suddenly made a sound behind us. Both of them stopped whatever they were doing and the three of us slowly turned around. It was pretty dark, since the only light were the stars and the moon. There was a really dark bush rattling and making sounds. What is it this time?? Please don't be another monster or something!

Hanako-Kun pulled out his knife from somewhere. Yashiro hid behind him. Right..Hanako-Kun won't protect me at the cost of Yashiro's life. I'll have to defend myself on my own. Well, I still have the ring, so it should be fine. I just gotta somehow summon that weird blade again. ... That's easier said than done though... wait. Last time, I just needed to swing it! That's it! That must be how I can activate it! I don't need that stupid ghost! Just you watch me! I stood in position as the rattling from the bush got stronger and swung my hand forward just like last time.

"Eh?" Where is the blade?!

The bush rattling stopped and something or someone came out..
