Chapter 4: A mysterious world

Just as I almost gave up on hope, [Y/N]'s eyes suddenly started to glow and look like the space. "Wha-"

Hanako-kun's POV
The light dazzled me that much that I had to close my eyes. As the light started to fade, I What opened my eyes again slowly. The next thing I saw surprised me. We were standing in a place that looked like space itself with all the beautiful stars. "Wow...amazing...", I said. What is this place..? "Ouch..." Huh? I turned around as I stopped looking at the stars. There was [Y/N] lying on the floor right behind me. "Are you alright?" "Huh? Yeah. I am, but my eyes really hurt and everything is somehow really blurry...Hanako-kun, where are we? I can't see, but I can tell that we aren't at school anymore." "You don't know? But weren't you the one who brought us here?" "I was?" "Yeah. You were." [Y/N] rubbed her eyes a little and blinked a lot, but finally started to stop that. "Woah...where are we..this place is gorgeous!", she said and got up. She doesn't know herself? How did she even brought us her then? I started to look at [Y/N] who was admiring the view as I started to think. Wait. Something on her finger glowed. "[Y/N]." "Yes. What is it?", she said as she turned around. "What's that on your finger?" "Huh? Oh. That's just a ring. Wow, wait a second...why is it glowing and since when did I even had this???" The ring looked unique. It was silver with a big, blue sapphire on it. Come to think about it...I'm pretty sure she had that one on as her eyes started glowing and as she cleaned with Yashiro... "Are you sure, you didn't have it on before?" "Hm...let me think about it...ouch! My head hurts when I try to remember..!" Strange.. "But the sapphire really is beautiful." As she stretched herself a bit a big blade that looked a bit like space was on the ring. "What the-!!! What the heck???" "[Y/N]. Who gave you that ring?" "Like I said! I don't know! Are you seriously not surprised by this..this...blade!?" "Okay. Calm down." "How the heck am I suppose to calm down?!! My ring just turned into a freakin' weapon!!" This is bad. At this rate, she'll never calm down and she could even hurt herself if she continues to swing that blade around. I guess I have to calm her down somehow. I flew over to her and...

[Y/N]'s POV
Hanako-kun...just..hugged me out of nowhere...no boy ever hugged me...I should've probably get flustered, but...this feeling..it seems familiar...and calming... After a while, Hanako-kun let go. "Are you finally calm?" "Uh..y-yeah.." Suddenly the weapon started to disappear. "What the..." "I'm going to ask you about all this later. Now we need to save Yashiro." "Right! And how?" "You brought us here! You should know." Why does he keep talking like I know what was happening?? I neither know how we got her nor what this place is! I started looking around, ignoring him. Then, I saw that gigantic black door. "Hanako-kun, look.." "That door might take us to Yashiro.", he said and flew right at it before even thinking about it twice. That door kinda seems familiar for some reason... I ran after Hanako-kun, since I didn't wanted to be left alone in a room that looked like space. The moment I went through that door was the moment I walked into a different world. It looked a bit like a messed up wonderland. Since it was night and a bit creepy, but also had a lot of space-like things. "Hanako-kun...do you know this...place..?" "No.. But we don't have time to get to know this place! Yashiro might be here!" He's right! We need to find Yashiro! I hope she didn't got hurt or anything!! But... this place creeps me out!! The sky might be a beautiful space sky, but the ground is full of dark moving things! It's like I'm in a horror forest... I got scared as I looked around and unconsciously grabbed Hanako's hand. "[Y/N]?" "H-huh? Wha-..?!" I quickly let go. "Are you scared?" "W-What..? O-of course not...Okay..yes.. I am scared.." "Well, we need to hurry up. If you're that scared, we're going to be too slow." "Well, sorry that this place is really creepy! What can I do against that??" "Why don't you use your ring-sword or something?" "That-!.... I don't know how to get a sword out of this ring..." "Well..it can't be helped then...", he said. I wondered what he meant for a second. He surprisingly carried me in his arms while he was flying. "W-what do you think you're doing???" "I thought this might calm you. And we can pick up the pace this way." I guess that's true.. I didn't really had a reason to go against that, so I just stayed quiet. We've then been going on like this for a while in silence. But now I wanted to break the ice, since I got bored. "I'm amazed that you haven't abandon me yet." "Yashiro would probably be mad, if I let one of her friends die..and you somehow seem connected to this place." "That again? I told you that I don't know this place! How am I suppose to be connected to it-" "Shhh! Shut up. I hear something..", he said as he put his hand on my mouth and went into a bush. It's kinda cold, but I never even was that close to a boy is what I then realized at the moment...so I got nervous and blushed a bit. I then noticed stomps, sounds as if two blades crossed and those sounds were followed by a scream... "Hanako-kun..wasn't that..."

Sorry for the wait.

I kinda wanted to change the story a bit aaaand.. well.. I'm kind of flooded with assignments, so I tried to do what I can.

I also tried a bit harder on the illustration. I hope it looks good.
