It has been long,
How long you ask?
It's been more than I thought it would be.
I wish I could understand;
Understand the complexities of a mind.
I had wondered if you had wished for this result.
Was this the end of what we had been.
Perhaps it is.
We might never to back to want we were;
But I hope one day.
We'll look back and laugh at ourselves.
