But the quiet it brought was loud.
She mourned while laughter echoed in her ears.
Her laughter never stuck around enough to dispel the subdued loss.
She heard the joy yet she mourned.
It seems she is to mourn for decades to come, for a life that is lost.April is a month of loss.
