She dreams of tomorrow and lives in yesterday.
Never does she run, always walks.
Someone had asked her why, she returned a wry smile and said just because.
She never answered it, she lived long and slow put herself on the backburner.
She appeared calm and pleasent like the ocean waves, hiding the raging currents that could destroy kingdoms.
She nurtured life, kindled fire just enought to help lost soul some relief.
Years went by, many met her but no one remembered her, she was mysterious like that.
Seasons passed by, then they stumbled across her asleep near her hearth.
She looked warm and content, her cheeks rosy by the embers.
They waited for her awake from her slumber, they waited long, all for naught
For she had fallen asleep for eternity.
They moaned and wailed her to open her warm eyes, but she laid there unmoving.
Many years went by, not many remembered her.
She continued looking upon them in content.
