Min Yoongi was born Min Yoonji March 9th 1993. Daughter to her two parents.

Growing up she was considered her parents beautiful baby girl.

They loved her with all their hearts, she wore pretty pink bows and frilly dresses throughout her childhood and was considered a girly girl. Her parents let her hair grow long, tying it up in pigtails and beautiful french braids as well as traditional hairstyles. She'd take an interest in cooking and cheerleading at a young age, regardless of only being 8 she hoped to be a cheerleader when she was older.

Her parents never questioned some of the odder things about her. Her voice was deeper than all of her female classmates, and her parents always told her that it was fine, girls could have deeper voices, and nothing was wrong with that. Sometimes Yoonji would share feelings of discontent about her voice and how it made her feel "weird" to have a voice that didn't sound like everyone elses.

At age 10 she quickly shifted her opinions on everything. She no longer wanted to wear dresses anymore, the ones bought for Christmas hanging unused in her closet. Rather she navigated more towards jeans and sneakers, a fan of more form fitting tops to go with them. Her group of girl friends dissolved quickly as they moved to different classes, though they were quickly replaced with new boy friends. She made sure to be clear that she simply "no longer found dresses practical" as she was doing more athletic activities and was more a fan of the simplier style that she had going on. At the end of 5th grade she ended up cutting her hair, once waist length to slightly below her shoulders. She just felt ready for a change, and though her parents were sad that she was changing, they accepted the decision quickly.

Puberty wrecked everything Yoonji thought she knew about herself.

She sat silently as she watched the few girl friends she had change, feeling confused as to why she wasn't changing with them. They suddenly had skinny waists and wider hips, their chests were growing out. In 6th grade, some of the girls already had C-cups and she was left looking at her own flat chest, only in a training bra and wondering why she didn't look like them. It hurt her to look around and see the boys growing taller, the girls growing curvier and leaving her behind. Her mother did what she could to reassure her, simply saying that some people were late bloomers and there was nothing wrong with that.

7th grade was the year when she thought puberty would hit her, but it ran over her like a train in the worst way possible. Her shoulders were broadening, getting wider but her chest was no larger than it was in 6th grade. Her period hadn't started yet, though every other girls seemingly had. Her mothers words were no longer enough to console her, she only felt out-of-place.

8th grade was awful. There wasn't even a chance of her getting a second look from a guy. Her female classmates were so much more visually appealing then her, some of them looked like full-grown women despite only being thirteen. She had one girl in her class who was wearing a DDD-cup, while she herself was only in an A. Her breasts were barely noticeable if you weren't actively looking to see them. The girls in the bathroom would gossip about periods, boyfriends and loosing their virginities. Yes, loosing their virginity. Yoonji hadn't had a boyfriend, she hadn't even had her first kiss. In fact, she didn't have anything they had. She mentioned not having a period in passing one day, and the girls laughed at her.

"Damn, she has no idea of the pain we go through"

"Yeah look at her, she has no boobs. She's never gonna get a man like that"
