I have been staring at the elevator to my apartment for a while now. I'm still hoping she'd be upstairs, maybe taking some pillows to the guest room, not wanting to sleep beside me because she's still upset. I can take that, but- not having her here at all, might kill me. I finally found the courage to press up. Once I got to the apartment, all lights were still off. She's not home. I sat on the couch and just rested my back for a little. Tears fell on the side of my face-

The next day I drove really early to Riley's apartment, but then I found out from Chai that she chose to stay in a hotel for the mean time. I tried to ring her but she never picked up. I drove straight to the office in the hopes of seeing her there. I checked her office but she wasn't there- I sighed. I slowly turned my back but I was surprised to see her behind me.
Riley: "Do you need something?"

I lost all the words- I couldn't say anything, I was just staring at her.
Riley: "If- not, then do you mind if I go in? I really have a lot to finish- sa isang araw na yung presentation ko-"
Her eyes were still swollen. I held her face and gently rubbed my thumb on her cheek.
Stefan: "I just wanted to see you-"
She looked down and slowly removed my hand from her face.
Riley: "I need to work-"
I closed my eyes and just nodded. I stepped away from the door so she could go in- she smiled a little before entering her office. She closed the door right away, I just stood right there and rested my forehead on it.
Riley's POV:
Masakit makitang nahihirapan siya. Pero kung hindi ko titibayan ang loob ko, ako rin yung mahihirapan. Kailangan kong ayusin lahat- lalo na ang sarili ko. Ayokong isang araw, kainin nalang akong tuluyan ng insecurities ko.
