Alexander's POV

I don't know what came over me. For some reason seeing his arm around her made me extremely angry.

"It's the mate bond idiot!" Jackson says in my head.

I don't reply because suddenly all I can see is red. Cass wraps her arms around Andrew and pulls him in for a hug. She shouldn't be that close to another unmated wolf.

Before I can think my legs take me over to them and pull them apart.

"Shouldn't you two be training?" I ask looking straight at Andrew.

I move to stand between them.

"If I'm not mistaken Andrew you have your warrior test in three days. You should be spending every possible moment preparing." I say crossing my arms in front of me.

"And I was just about to start. Cass let's get started." Andrew says making a move to grab Cass.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" I say moving to stand right in front of Cass.

"Yes, very sure." Andrew said moving past me and grabbing Cass.

How dare he defy me! I'm his soon to be Alpha and King.

"He needs to know that she is our mate not his." Jackson growls in my head.

"Calm down Jackson. No one would dare try to move in on Cass when most of the pack knows she is our mate." I reassure him.

"No one usually defies you." Jackson states.

He has a point. If Andrew is willing to defy me who knows what he might consider when it comes to Cass.

With that thought I turn and begin to stalk away without looking back. If Cass would betray me and find another guy before our mate bond is officially broken, maybe she isn't the mate I thought she was.

I almost make it all the way across the training field when an ear-piercing scream rings out. I don't even stop to think before turning and running back the way I came. I know that was Cass. If Andrew hurt her in any way, he is dead.

I almost make it back over to where I left Cass when I see her collapse. I break into a sprint and push through the people beginning to gather. Once I reach Cass I fall to my knees, push Andrew away and gently roll her onto her back. Her eyes are closed.

"Cass?" I say tapping her arm.

Nothing happens.

"Cass!" I say a little louder and shaking her a bit.

"What the hell happened?" Eric asks breaking through the crowd.

I stand up and walk over to Andrew until I am toe to toe with him.

"What did you do?" I say angrily while grabbing a handful of his shirt in my fist.

"Nothing! We were sparring and she suddenly stopped and grabbed her stomach. Before I could ask what happened she started screaming. I tried asking what was wrong, but she couldn't tell me." Andrew says holding his arms up in defense.

"Alex stop! We need to get Cass to the pack doctor." Aaron said loudly from behind me.

I quickly released my grip on Andrew. I looked back at Cassia who is still unconscious on the ground. Just this morning I promised I wouldn't let anything happen to Cassia and here I am wasting time when I should be getting her help.

Without a second thought I scoop up Cassia in my arms.

"Tell the doctor to meet me at Cass's room." I say to no in particular. I know either Eric or Aaron will take care of it.
