The next day you approached Hinata and Kageyama in the morning.

"Good Morning guys! Did you two sleep well?" You exclaimed, then looked over to Hinata. He seemed to be bouncing off the walls like a little bug running into hiding from a human.

"What's up with him?" You whisper-asked Kageyama.

"He decided it would be a good idea to drink coffee today." He replied with minimal emotion.

"Oh god, today's gonna be a nightmare.." You shook your head and turned to look at Hinata again. He was greeting everyone as they walked by, every person was getting a good morning from Hinata. Some people enjoyed it more than others and even some greeted him back.

"Also, can I talk to you over here please." Kageyama aggressively grabbed your arm and drags you farther away from Hinata

"Okay? What is it?" You enquired, cocking and eyebrow.

"Do you like Hinata Shoyo?" He asked in a stern, but quiet voice.

Taken aback by this question, your brain scrambled to choose what to say so what came out was:

"Who?" You mentally punched yourself.

"You idiot, you know exactly who I'm talking about." He said in a tad bit more aggressive tone.

"I'm sorry I got mixed up in my brain, okay?" You sighed. You didn't know what answer to give him. Be honest? Or lie, or what? "Um, What do you mean?"

Kageyama rolled his eyes. He let go off your arm when you winced a bit.

"Like romantically?" He responded.

"Uh, I don't know why? It's really not your business." You stated, giving him the same energy he was giving you.

"No reason, just wondering." He shrugged. You then knew it had to be something, not just for no reason. It's never for no reason.

You both walked back over to Hinata, who was now having a full on conversation with a random girl.

"Yeah! and then I jumped really high to spike it! Wait do you know what a spike is- Oh hey guys!" Hinata exclaimed, waving at you and Kageyama. The girl laughed awkwardly and left.

The bell then rang and you went to your classes.

The rest of the day went by slowly, although it was a bit different. Hinata was having a hard time paying attention and he was really fidgety. You made a mental note to tell him not to drink anything caffeinated again.
