Training camp was over, and you were already back home.Ever since you confessed, things have pretty much been the same. Except that you haven't done anything about your relationship with Hinata. If you were being quite honest, you didn't have much relationship experience. Hinata was the only crush you've had that you've gotten this far with.
You weren't sure if you were together, or still friends or what. It was confusing and you hated it.
You thought maybe he just didn't know how to take the next step, which you could relate. You didn't know what to do either.
'Maybe I should just ask him', You thought.
You were dragged back to reality, when your mother barged into your room. You almost threw the laptop you were holding in surprise.
"Can you come to the kitchen please." She smiled at you, and closed the door again. You were confused but complied.
"What's wrong?" You asked crossing your arms. You just wanted to go back to your room. It was the weekend and all you wanted to do was nothing.
"Oh nothing! I just wanted to let you that i'm going out and your little friend is here."
"Okay- what?" You stopped mid sentence, trying to process what your mother just said. She then turned to open your front door, and there he stood. Hinata stood at the door and stepped to the side to let your mother out.
"Be safe!" Your mom shouted before she walked off down the street. Your eyes widened, but you brushed it off and ignored it.
"Uh, hey." Hinata said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" You asked in the politest tone you could muster. You didn't want to accidentally sound rude, even when you're not trying too.
"I just wanted to see if you wanted to go do something." He shrugged, looking at the floor, clearing feeling a bit embarrassed. You smiled and quickly responded to ease his nerves.
"Sure! What do you wanna do?" You asked, and watched his eyes light up as he looked back up to meet your gaze.
"Hmm, I was thinking the movies maybe?" He asked with hopefulness shining in his eyes.
"That sounds fun, let me just grab my bag." You quickly added, as you walked off to find your bag. You found it and quickly realized you don't have enough money to get tickets to the movie, and you didn't want to make Hinata pay for it all by himself. So you snuck into your mothers room to see if she left any cash behind before she hit the town.
You reached into a drawer and felt around for anything paper-like. When your hand found what it was looking for, it pulled out about enough money to pay for everything. You felt a bit bad about taking money from your mother, but just this once wouldn't hurt, right?
You walked back into the kitchen to be greeted with Hinata, who was leaning on the kitchen counter, and gently touching a plant that sat there.
"What kind of plant is this?" He asks, not removing his gaze from the plant. You smile at his fascination with a basic plant.
"Oh, it's a Peony I think. I'm not sure, my mom bought it." You shrug, answering his question. You look over at him and then the pink flower.
He stopped staring at the plant returned to his standing position. "It's a very pretty flower."
"It is, are you ready to go?" You asked, pointing your thumb in the direction of the door.
"Oh yeah!" He chuckled, as if he was lost in thought, and instinctively grabbed your hand. You were a tad bit surprised, but you played it off.
