Someone's boyfriend [Elisop]

Chapter 3

Aesop turned around as he heard someone call his name. Was it Eli ? Had he seen what had just happened ? However, he quickly calmed down when he saw someone he didn't know. It was a young man, probably the same age as him from his appearance. He had medium-length brown hair tied in a small ponytail and was wearing a long-sleeved top with black and white stripes.

"Y-yes ?" replied Aesop in a shaky voice.

"I knew it !"

"Do we know each other...?"

A smile appeared on the face of his interlocutor, who seemed strangely cheerful. Aesop, on the other hand, did not feel very reassured at the idea of a stranger knowing his identity.

"Ah sorry, I forgot to introduce myself ! My name is Luca !" he said cheerfully.

Luca... He knew the name was familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on when he had heard the name. That's when he remembered his conversations with Norton.

"Norton's boyfriend...?" he asked a little hesitantly.

"That's right !" 

Luca laughed as he held out his hand to Aesop. The latter hesitated a little longer before taking it to exchange a handshake.

"Norton sent me to find you because he suspected you would get lost on the way !"

"Oh... I see... Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience..."

Luca patted him energetically on the back to let him know that he didn't mind. He then looked over Aesop's shoulder towards the park.

"I saw you in there earlier. Do you know these people ?"

Aesop was surprised by Luca's question. But before he could answer, a phone notification sounded. It was Luca's cell phone. He waved at him before pulling it out and tapping on his screen.

"Ah, Norton is telling us to hurry up ! We'll continue later, for now let's go to his place !"

"Oh, right..."

Luca took Aesop's arm before pulling him with him a few blocks away. After a few minutes of walking, they arrived in front of a building. They both entered the elevator and then Luca pressed a button to take them to the third floor.

They arrived in front of a door. On the side of the door was a small sign that read "Campbell". Norton had once said that he had some problems with his parents so he lived alone away from them.

Luca pressed the doorbell and a few seconds later Norton opened the door with a grunt. You could see the fatigue on his face, he was obviously very sick. Luca didn't hesitate and went inside, dragging Aesop with him.

"Make yourself at home..." Said Norton in a low voice as he closed the door before going into the living room.

Aesop nodded shyly and took off his shoes before going into the room where the other two boys were waiting. They were both sitting on the floor around a table, Norton leaning against his bed in the same room. Luca patted the floor next to him to tell Aesop to come sit next to him.

"I brought some medicine just in case..." he said as he placed a plastic bag on the table.

"Ah thank you but you didn't have to..." replied Norton.

He straightened up and leaned over the table to look through the bag. Aesop then felt a piercing look directed at him. It didn't take him long to realize that Luca had probably been staring at him for a while.
