They say grieving nightmares are common when a traumatic event is fresh in the mind...

Dylan Wang's adoptive father passed away before his very own eyes.

A numbing moment,
shattering glass,
then silence...

In a sudden impact his soul left his body.

There was life then there was emptiness.

Soon after memories became distressing to the point of paralyzing him on the spot.
His memory system composed of sights, sounds, and smells attached to the storage of his brain suffered affliction.

His mind handpicked the key moments which sadly where traumas.  It was something he couldn't control.

Stress always did a number on him.

Dylan was happy, he finally had the woman of his dreams, yet the past had a way to sneak in.

He had been getting reoccurring nightmares, he was able to hide them well.

Sometimes there was serenity within the dream.

His father talked to him then his face turned bloody. He faded away slowly.

Dylan tried to avoid the thought, he pushed it away during training. When he was with Shen Yue things naturally became easy. She gave him peace.

Such avoidance to his traumas always caught up with him and it was normally during sleep, when his guard was down.

Yue was snuggled close to his body heat.
Lately she was very tired.

He kept twisting. She felt the movement but kept her eyes closed, her body just felt drained to even attempt one eye to open.

Dylan started to shake and soon enough he was trying to wakeup.

His father kept fading away and he tried to reach for his hand.

"Avoidance is not the answer." His father repeated.

Dylan was agitated.

Shen Yue felt a sudden move.

Dylan turned so quickly his whole body landed on the hard wood floor.

Shen Yue sat up quickly scared trying to find the light.

She turned the side lamp her eyes quickly found him on the floor.

She carefully moved closer.

Was he asleep?

His eyes where closed.

His knees towards his chest and uneven breathing made her think he was having a panic attack.

"Dylan?"
